I vaped out my bathroom....
Dont act like you dont multitask in there either....

Anyway,
When I came out, the plume rolled out the top of the doorway and into the hall, right into the smoke detector.... It went off..... To which my daughter burst out of her bedroom as proclaimed " Wow Bro, a little much!?!

That's crazy but it's never happened to me. I sit almost right under my smoke detector and never had it happen yet. It would suck to have to run out to the garage in the middle of the night and grab the ladder to shut that thing off.

My smoke alarm has been subjected to more than just E juice vapor as well if you catch my drift and still.. never a problem.

Optical (photoelectric) and Ionization depends on which you have older or more high tech.

Thick vapor in a decent cloud form will block the optical sensor causing it to trigger the alarm to go off.
