Vaping And My Smoke Detector

No, my manager is a young 25-year-old smoker and she understands and supports my vaping. I did suggest that it could have been my vape that set it off even though I've been vaping there for nearly 3 years. She agreed it probably was, but she said she wouldn't mention it to the firemen and went with a possible system malfunction instead. Whew!

Yeah, I didn't realize we had optic smoke detectors and that there was one in the center of the room I was sitting in. I was chain vaping and blowing some pretty decent clouds since everyone was asleep, then all of a sudden this piercing, shrill and super loud alarm went off. I just about jumped out of my chair.
Since I thought out doing this test I warned them I was testing the smoke detector so not to panic anyone if I set it off!

Well commercial detectors might be both but it is good to know since you can google the makes and models in hotels and places to make sure how careful you must be.
My smoke detectors never go off when I vape, when I cook.....In all fairness though we like to smoke all our foods in Texas so that's my lie and I am sticking to it.

The ones that list it as a VG/PG ratio are probably standing on my lawn.
And there will be hell to pay if they don't get off it.
Listing the blend as PG/VG is the traditional way to do it. It seems that since more and more people are using high VG blends these days many of the makers are listing it as VG/PG. I would be surprised if it doesn't become standard to do it that way sooner than later.
My smoke detectors are hooked up to a whole home security system which calls the Fire department when it's set off.... I tested it's sensitivity to vape when I moved in about 6 months ago. Very sensitive. Also couldn't remember the reset code in the heat of that moment. Got to meet my neighbors that night and the local fire department. Vapor doesn't seem to bother it unless I blow a little directly onto it.
Well this has been debated for many years but from what I see it is doesn't matter which way it is ordered what matters is that the order matches the numbers. Google is your friend!
Well, it looks weird to me listing the smaller number first.
