I know I've seen threads on this in the past, but it's been awhile so I thought I'd revisit it.

I started vaping mostly to support my sister in her need to stop smoking, turns out I really really like vaping! But....I also still like smoking occasionally. I have a cigarette with coffee in the morning, sometimes one before I go to bed, sometimes I smoke at work with the other smokers.

I didn't start vaping with the idea of quitting smoking, and I haven't. Granted I don't smoke all that much anymore, especially compared to my former pack a day but I do still smoke.

Anyone else in the same boat? If so are you ok with doing both or are you thinking about quitting the analogs?

I got off completely, I didn't intend to. I just wanted to get my fix indoors. Then I realized I was down to half. upped my nic and...that was it. But my husband hasn't and I don't know if he ever will. He likes his couple setups. He has a juice he enjoys a lot. But to him, it is mainly a way to get his fix while watching TV or gaming without having to get up and go out to the garage to smoke. My best friend is the same way. They've both mentioned quitting eventually, but neither seem in a rush. And that's ok too. Every less cigarette you smoke is a good thing.

One of the vape stores I frequent is owned by an occasional cigarette smoker. While I don't know how many he smokes a day, I'd guess about 5 to 10 a day.

It just seems odd to me to be smoking right outside a vape store.

That is odd, not very good advertising.

Personally I never really intended to quit, just ended up here. For those that smoke and vape I would think of it this way: think of how much LESS you're smoking. Every little bit helps right?

I am surprised by how many people had no intention to quit smoking but did. I do find some days I smoke analogs more, some days only one or two. Since my plan wasn't to quit I don't beat myself up for it, rather I find myself pleasantly surprised when a pack of smokes lasts me four days instead of one! I am definitely not saving money though, I like vaping enough that I've dropped a considerable amount on equipment and flavors.

Yeah. I figure beating oneself up for smoking a cigarette is counterproductive in any case. What value does the guilt have, right?
