Yes, you can use them in your ego. No difference other than color. Personally, I like the idea of clear because you can see when your juice is running low.
you can use these on pretty much any device (yet I wouldn't suggest it on a pen style) they work great on my 3.7v Riva SE. they hit as good if not better than an sr(standard res) carto at 5V
Some people complain that the clear taste of plastic. The Big Chief said the stainless are not so tasty. I have no clue so I'm willing to try both types.
the plastic one does have an off taste at first. the steel/black version gives slightly better flavor overall.
Everyone is so different in their tastes, difficult to know. I'm with you on trying both, though.
one huge thing. if you order the clear, make sure you have a drip tip. you do not want to use the whistle tip it comes with. it's horrible. too tight of a draw and it sucks up juice like crazy...
Zadane put me down for 20, just to get my name in here. It's still a 50/50 on my end depending on whether I like them in a few days. They already were processed through OK so I'm hoping I have them within the next two days.

zadane, don't forget to check back with smoketec after you know the total number of cartos wanted - there might be another price break once you reach a certain number .....
I'd like to get a few to get them a try so put me down twenty (or four packs if they come in five) of the 510 Clearos).
