Yah, they can range from a little green glow to dancing multic colored streaks across the sky. It's one of my favorite things to witness! It is always a really cool sight to see.

I'm in California now, but I really want to move back. The auroras are on my top 5 reasons to move back!

I miss seeing this from my parents house.

Edit: you can see them anywhere in Alaska, but my parents live up on a ride with a brilliant view. I would go up there if the aurora forecast was high.

My apologies, it was not my intention to ruin your day. Sorry if I came of harsh.

This is simply something that I see often in the DIY section and with various juice mixes recommended.

By no means am I saying that airing or steeping does not benefit the e-juice. Simply put I just do not believe for a second that the alcohol evaporates in a couple days at that low of an alcohol percentage. Airing and steeping may and probably does help the flavors develop over time but that has more to do with flavors mixing together.

I have offered up a simple DIY test that any one of you can do. Simply pour a shot of vodka, or your liquor of choice, and monitor it over the course of several days and see if and when you notice evaporation occurring. I have done such many time with very high proof liquor and even after 2 weeks there is no noticeable volume change which leads me to believe that there is no evaporation of alcohol at the small percentages we sometimes encounter in e-juice. Perhaps in extended periods of times such as months or years evaporation could be noticed. The same could be said to surface area. The surface area of a bottle of e-juice is so small that it would take a very long time for any evaporation to occur. Now if you dump an entire bottle of e-juice on a counter and spread it thin of course evaporation would happen much faster with the larger surface area.

I understand what you mean about the lights this has to be the prettiest scene from my neck of the woods. and in real life there must me about a thousand more color shades than what you see in the pic.
