So the winners in the US, did you receive anything saying your item has shipped? I haven't received anything, except the initial email where I had to provide my address. Since then, I haven't heard anything. Sorry if it's already been mentioned, I haven't logged in for a few days.

I was a forum winner as well. I received mine as well. I recieved no e-mail at all, it was all handled through ECF. My items were shipped to madvapes, and then they shipped it via Fed-Ex. It arrived about 14 days ago, but I had to have it held at the Fed-Ex station due to me being out of town. I Signed up and logged on to Fed-Ex's site, and was able to track packages arriving to my mailbox and found it that way.

I don't know of forum members shipments were being handled differently than smok's winnings. Maybe someone could verify...

The tank is very easy to over fill. When you close the swing top if compresses the white gasket at the top and any juice not "in the tank" will get squeezed out of the sides when swing top is moved in to position.

I don't think I have EVER filled the tank and NOT had leakage but I'm not to worried about it. I just wipe it away and go about my business. I want the tank as full as possible since it is so thirsty. I also try to top it off when juice gets at or below the top slot in the quad coils. I have not ran it below that slot but I figured it might cause the coil to give a dry hit.

Over all I am very pleased with the combo and actually am looking to purchase two more tanks I think - so if anyone doesn't want theirs let me know.

I'm liking the tank too.. and was thinking of getting the 22mm version for my other mods. The size of the tank and this mod work well together, but most of my other mods are designed for 22mm. I lowered the settings and restricted the airflow to accomodate a more "tootie puffer" like setting. I think the Taifun GT2 is still more to my liking. Restricting this TFV4 tank is like driving a Porche at 35MPH..... it can do it, but it's not recommended.

I got a discount code today for 53% off an Xcube 2 from gearbest, final price works out to be £35ish.
I think the value of our new prize mods has just dropped...

My local B&M is getting $110 for the mod alone. $75 for the full kit TFV4.
Damn.....my local and trusted b&m sells the full kit TFV4 for $49.95. Same price as some online vendors. He compares his prices to several online shops and prices it the same.

I can sympathise with the b&m's having higher prices than online vendors and I'm even willing to pay it sometimes, but there comes a point where they're just taking advantage of unwitting people.

Yeah, I pay the piper sometimes too. I bought my first TFV4 from him, but managed to talk him down to $65 I think. He is pretty competitive on some things and way high on others, but he employees a half dozen members of the community so I try to show appreciation as much as possible. When it simply doesn't make financial sense I say something to him, sometimes he will budge and other times he will say "that's a hell of a deal go buy it there".

My store knows that people can shop online so he makes sure that his prices are comparable to other online vendors like VaporDNA and MVS. The only prices he cannot match is the Chinese companies like Fasttech, efun, or gearbest and the like. He said that the prices they sell at is only a couple of dollars above wholesale, so once you consider what he needs to pay for shipping, he would be selling it at a loss if he tried to match their prices. He is more concerned about earning a customer's trust and wanting them to come back rather than maximizing his profits. It works because I've spent well over $1,000 with him since I first went to his store in April. His store isn't the closest to me, but it is the one store I go to first and the one store that I recommend to everyone. And every time I go there, I always end up spending a few hours there chatting with the store owner, staff, and other customers about gear, juice, and ECF.

Once friends have been made, customer loyalty has usually been earned for a long time.
There's a guy that lives a couple of houses down from mine and he runs the the local store, if I can spare the extra money I always go to him first.
He's always home if I have a juice emergency or need some batteries, I even took care of his dog when he was ill.
He's a good guy and I try to help him out as much as he helps me out with discounts and things.

The store that I mentioned also has a rewards program where you get 10 percent back that can be used for a future purchase, to offset the fact that you have to pay NY sales tax in the store, but don't if you order online. Last Friday I went there with a friend of mine and she picked out a bunch of juice and a TFV4 tank plus a package of coils. I got a TFV4 tank for myself and the owner gave us 10 percent off, in addition to the rewards points. I went back the next day and spent another $350 on a Tugboat DNA200 mod, a Tugboat RDA and a square top cap and then a Tobeco Super Tank Mini plus a pack of coils.

Well, I just got my dual could rebuildable in and I have to say, I'm not sure if I like it.... It's a PITA to build on, the screws are super small and definitely do not like to tighten up with a 28/30 Clapton.

It seems like a cool idea but I think I may just deal with the premade coils.

After messing around with it more, I'll update my thoughts.....

Remember, Smok is coming out with a Clapton RBA too, so they may have intentionally made the standard dual RBA Clapton unfriendly...

It's more than Clapton unfriendly. It's any large gauge unfriendly. It has little to no room for wire. I had to pound the ends flat on my coils to get it to fit. Idk.... It just seems like it isn't as well built as I would of thought.

I'm still vaping on it to see if it's for me.... I may try a different coil build later. I just finished my tri ribbon twisted coil wire. I may throw that in there and see how it runs. One thing I have observed so far is that the wick dries out after only a few hits and I have to "prime" it again or let it sit a few minutes for the juice to wick....
