Good news for the people that like the Phoenix but want more juice capacity...Eshots has a new one coming out called the Phoenix XL. Got one on the way to me I'll give more info when it's in my hands.

Link?

I only seem to be able to find the regular version.

BTW...if anybody was on the fence about getting a Phoenix...it's now the same price as your standard atomizer which is $8.99 at Phoenix Rebuildable Atomizer - Clone

Once drippers realize how good this thing is standard atomizers will be a thing of the past.

Is there a guide on this forum on how to rebuild for a nooby? I already have one from Dv on its way but haven't gotten this far. Vmax on its way also makes for a interesting learning session or 2. I'VE done my best to cycle thru the hundreds of pages here.

I had these two pieces of wood that someone put into recycled bottles and originally was going to drill one to hold atomizers, ect. But here is to pics, no directions as pics should due. A hinge on end would be nice but it does not to move much. Seems to do the job with minimal distortion of tube, note about 95% of cartomizer is incased in bottom piece of wood. As far as the perforated carto, it is just an empty tube and I got carried away. Two pieces of wood, some plumbers tape, 4 wood screws and 1 drywall screwView attachment 126968View attachment 126969View attachment 126970View attachment 126971

Agreed, this seems like the year of the rebuildable atty. All I can say is that I love my G tank Us, all the flavor of dripping without having to drip all the time, perfect for driving around, or kickin back.

maybe I should re-visit my GT-US...I have it up for trade with cash for a Penelope. I never use the thing. Guess I should try it again ??

Thanks! Just ordered one! :rickroll:

Your gonna LOVE it...all my sweet juices taste sweeter....ALL my tabacco's taste bolder, richer, and fuller. It's such a wet full thick thick bodied vapor. And all for the least amount of money I've EVER spent on ANY product to give this much back to me.

ABSOLUTE BIGGEST BANG FOR THE BUCK !!!!! IMO ofcourse...and quite a few others......I think. lol

I have a GTUS that I finally got around to putting together recently... I wish that the base had a deep cutout like the Phoenix since it tastes much fuller as a dripper to me at this early stage... I had already been forming thoughts of using longer screws and putting a sleeve on it, and the next day I see one of these being mentioned. I looked into it a bit, but with the cost of the GTUS and various new items to get it up and running and all of the other things that are pulling me this way and that way, basically it was a back burner item... I will be waiting for the higher capacity unit as well, but don't like the idea of the copper...will just have to keep an eye on it and keep a taste bud on the lookout for the copper taste!

Recieved my SS blue display on Friday from vaporalley. This thing is friggin awesome.Paired with my phoenix rba,I am the happiest I've been in my 1yr8month vape "career".Using food grade cheesecloth from Hobby Lobby.I have yet to try the peaches n creme yarn from walmart.I also have bamboo I got from supervape here on ecf I haven't tried.Anyway the vmax puts my LT to shame.I'll definitely get another one for work.It feels solid and the threads are smooth.10% off from VA code is vapeon.PM me for more codes ;).I'm not an affiliate,Rick just has great service, check out the supplier page.

I just did the dual coil Phoenix, prior to this the Phoenix was the most flavorful vape I ever had but vapor production was still better on DC tank well not anymore with Optimo's instructional video, thanks Optimo for the good video. I tucked all four ends of wick into well with considerable work, it looks to me after watching video again that you leave one end of each wick out and up, next time I will do it that way.

Best vape I ever had!

It seems since getting this Phoenix my vaping habits seemed to have changed as far as what flavor that I am vaping. I generally keep four DC tanks filled but pretty much use one. But when using Phoenix I am switching flavors continually, I have been bringing out all these other flavors that I have DIY'ed since starting vaping, they seem so different now. Really if you don't have a Phoenix RB you should get one, if you have no experence with rebuildables then this one is perfect to learn with.
If this was made in Europe it would easily fetch $50 dollars or more. you can get them for $9 to $15, go for it, what have you got to lose?

Well, I've re-sampled all my flavors and found it quite pleasurable except for one and that is one of my first DIY juces and it is strawberry in 100% VG. I figure it would gunk up my coils, not sure though. I use 20% VG in my juices for a reason that I'm not sure of. I am thinking about going 100% PG, what do think?

My version 2 Vmax with blue LCD just came in from CCV a couple days ago, and I'm really digging this thing. I was rocking a SS lavatube, but this is much better. I didn't think I'd like the one button menu system, but it's really not bad at all.

I did read through the last 50 or so pages of this thread to find some devices to slap on the end of this bad boy. I'd been using mainly lower resistance cartos and such. I've ordered some smoktech dual coil 3 ohm cartos, some 801 fusions, and a phoenix rebuildable atty. Where is the best place to get high resistance vivi nova heads? Both my 2.4 ohm and 2.8 ohm are reading 2.6 ohms.
