Yep....thinking I will be picking up my second in Gun Metal from CCV. I am so impressed with my SS and the efest batts it maybe time to list the ol ProVari in the classies.

I saw the cap and connector design has the lightning bolts, was hoping it was going to have the dimples like the SS.

I'll get over it though.....

IMO, I would still keep the ProVari, the longevity of the board hasn't proven itself yet..I hope it does, as you can buy 2 VMax's for the price of 1 Provari :) ..idk, def tempting..I'm not completly sold yet...but getting there

Oh, I just ordered one of those Pheonix rebuildable attys, Does any use one on thier VmaX? If so how's it fit:)

I use one as my main setup now because I don't really like tank attys where I switch flavors up so often. This thing gives me the best vape I ever had hands down and on the VMax you can fog out a whole room :). Fits like a champ and looks pretty good...just the right size imo.

I have an Avalon from Phoenix mods on the way in the mail, + a Peleon Bully (the Peleon bully is exactly the same as the PM DRA from Phoenix mods, except its like 1/3 of the price)

Can you shoot some "under the hood" close ups pics of that Genny when you get a minute, I'd like to see the size of the wick hole, +/- connections, fill hole..etc.... And maybe a link for others that may be interested. It does look very nice on the MAX.

TIA.

Yep, the ZMAXX, I think that's what I typed in my previous post...and yes Fuzzi, I don't think they actually are using THE genuine nivel chip but deffinately a take on it as from the data I know of it has a lot of the same specs and characteristics. And from what I know so far it is single battery powered. But I honestly can't tell you for sure till it arrives in the mail. I can't wait, from what I know so far it like the VMAX with a higher number segment display and a menu 7 to go into the wattage mode. After I learn more "solid info" I'll be sure to keep ya posted.

So, now that I'm going to be the proud owner of a VMax, I'm hoping you guys can help me out with a liquid delivery system. I'm still fairly new to vaping, so bare with me.

I've been using Vivi Novas after trying a number of different clearomizers and a carto tank, but I'm hoping for something that will take advantage of the benefits of the extra power the VMax offers. I want more flavor!

My problems are that:

1. I need something that's portable and won't leak if I throw it in a pocket carrying case (I carry 4 vivi novas with me in a camera case currently.
2. I haven't had much success with carto tanks. Maybe it was just the Resurrectors I was using, but I didn't like the flavor of the tank filler.
3. I change flavors a lot, which is why I carry the selection of Vivi Novas
4. I travel around a lot, so dripping is out of the question, sadly.

What do you guys think? Should I stick with the Vivi Nova? I feel like there has to be a better option that I'm unaware of.

Well I am way out of warranty on my ProVari and I wonder what is in store for the future for ProVape. Once China can find a way to make a comparable product US makers have to face a few realities that simply come down to numbers on paper. If I do sell my ProVari I sign up for another 1 year full replacement warranty on the Vmax.

If I worked at a quarry, construction, warehouse, etc. I would never sell my ProVari simply due to it's almost milspec design. There are 4 things that there is just no getting around with the ProVari, the weight, the batteries, replacement value, and the inability to dial down voltage should you inadvertently click past your sweet spot.

Trust me, I thought I would be buried one day, my cold hand clinching my ProVari. But I have felt this way about many things in my life, the fact that my ProVari has gone unchallenged for 18 months in a world where new mods come out every other week is a testament to it's quality.

Just sharing....to each their own, the SS Vmax has impressed me beyond belief, these are both great mods in their own right.

Hillgiant....why not get some Ego Mega 4x Cartos....hold 4-5mls, no leaks, will work on your Vmax, pretty affordable. The polyfill might be an issue for you though.

Would you recommend the dual coil ones? I'm under the impression that you really see the value of a high-powered VV device like the VMax by using dual coil cartos.

Ah geez...my reply may open up a can of worms....but here it goes.

Dual coils were actually built around 3.7v devices as a away to get the vapor production of say a 1.5 LR without muting the flavors hence the 3.0 ohms. VVs like the Buzz and ProVari had a good 1 year run but still weren't immensely popular while the bulk of the market was and probably still is mechanical mods.

Ideally you should benefit the most from using standard single coil cartos for VV devices. The VV discounts the need for using LR or HR atomizers since your attacking the other side of the equation. That being said I still use Dual Coils with my VV devices and still use 1.5 DCCs because I a have PV ADD and contantly swap tanks between my mechanicals and VVs.

If I just used VVs and nothing else I would probably go with a 2.0 or 2.5 Single Coil in my tanks.

Now, let me get my helmet and slicker on.....ok...let the vegetable and egg pelting begin
