Smoktech Vmax Owners - tips, tricks and quirks

The board is mounted on a half tube that is glued into place.
In your case the glue at the top of the tube has come loose and the tube has lifted. If you take the batteries out and push the viewing window down it'll straighten things up a little but it won't last.

You've got to send it back for a replacement.

Just wondering if anyone has had any issues with the screen and/or the button caving in? First my screen started caving in and then finally my button. i was getting ready to send it back in for an exchange when I decided to try to fix it myself. I slid a long tool with a hook on the end up into the inside of the tube and was able to put them both back into place. I just hope it continues to work. Has this happened to anyone else? Here are the before pics.

My SS VmaX Rev 4 has had no problems at all..on 2nd week of use. button is fine..sorry to hear some of you are having issues, good thing there is a warranty

Sooooooo SEXY........SOOOOOO SOLD !! This is my next purchase.

Silica wicks are so much less problematic than mesh and the Penelope setup is the 1st I've seen that keeps it simple and fast. Not to mention EASY. I really like my DiD and my GTank US but I may end up trading my GTank for a Penelope or just buy 1......or 2.....maybe 3 to be safe..lol

That RBA looks just like the one I got coming today..alot of them coming out of China now, I actually think they look nicer than the orig Pheonix (unless they have newer versions now) as the top part smooths into a bevel.. I'm ocd and picky like that..

Optimo sir you might want to check out empire mods....

Tests confirmed what I thought, vmaxx at 3v is actually outputting 3.53v on avg, at 5v 4.84v. This isn't a rip on it by any means, just one of those where it should be viewed more as an elevator than a actual voltage output setting. Did get it up to 4.1a without frying it, didn't want to push it any further, just got it... That's .8 amps higher than the previous two.

The Phoenix rebuildable holds up to 20 drops just the way I love it because I get bored of a flavor really quick and switch it up.

Not a whole lot, but more than a standard atomizer...

There's an airhole about halfway down on the side.
