Well, 15 eur difference between a Vmax and Zmax v1.
60 eur between v1 and v2.
I'm going with the v1 for now. Can't be worse of than Vmax.

You just have to set the wattage setting lower for your target vape. People have published charts that tell you the settings and actual output. Google for them. 18650 and 18350 stacked are different also on v1. On v2 they work pretty much the same.

I think he's talking the Vmax vs Zmax V2.
I think the build quality and performance of the Zmax is way superior too.

Looks like recent VMax build quality has been improved also. My brother's VMax bit the dust and the vendor had a six month warranty on it. He said the one he just received for the warranty replacement feels better than the first one he had and the threading is smoother. His general impression was that the build quality was much improved. Both were the stainless steel model.

So jackbox , did folks find out if that is a hole in the positive pin of non Smok Zmax?
And did you get your eGo Variable Volt/Watt APV , the one from Health Cabin?

Nothing on the hole yet. The package from HC never left China and got returned to them one week after they mailed it. Seems like Chinese customs bounced it back to HC. They repackaged it and shipped it again today. Hopefully, I'll get it this time. Another guy whose was shipped the same day going to the same country got his in three days. HC has no idea why mine never left China. Go figure. Give out some positive thoughts to help my package on its second journey.

I watched part of the video but I use mine just the the opposite of you. I don't use mine in the VV mode at all. I use it in the VW mode all the time and if I'm using VV I prefer my simpler three button pvs like the LT or Gripper without the menu. I just don't like scrolling through a menu to change a setting. I also don't mind the .5 Watt increment adjustment because I can barely tell the difference in .5 watts so anything less would just be useless for me. I'm not a real connoisseur of different flavored juices though so some might be more sensitive to small changes than I am. For me it works great in the VW mode.

The connection socket and head with the exception of the little positive button and it's grommet are one piece. Stainlees steel is certainly tougher than brass but still there can be quite a bit of leverage on it if say it were in your back pocket and you happen to sit on or something like that.

The situation that I am describing here it with an atomizer of some type attached and put into a stressed position, I carry mine in my pocket but the Max is in one pocket and my tank is in another.

Just got my SS Zmax V2 from Madvapes in the mail today!

Although most of the reviews I've seen on it say the 8th menu defaullts to NEA (mean), when I first stuck in the battery, it was set to ANS (RMS). Also was in the power out mode (Po - 7th menu). Iv'e been trying various cartomizers and Genesi on it since I got it.

The Genesis models definitely need higher power. I set the power to about 7.5 or 8.0 for them. Already popped a coil on one of them fiddling about. The cartomizers have been good for me anywhere from 5.0 - 6.0 Watts.

Tried voltage mode just for kicks - nothing special about it; it performs as other VV devices perform.

I also did the spring mod - cut about a half of a coil off and straightened it a bit. Put the cut end into the end cap. May need a bit more off, but baby steps here - can't put any back if you take too much off the first time!

The slits cut into the tube didn't seem sharp to me, as reported by others. Maybe its because I work in industry and have tough hands, or they are finishing them better. Don't know if they are for function or looks - after all, it has 5 holes in the bottom. I think if a battery every did blow, I would want it to vent out the bottom, not the sides, where I would get a faceful of noxious fumes (Oh, well, it does look different with the orange showing through).

Lastly, I used some Noalox on the threads - the end cap was fairly smooth spinning, but now its like butter.

Well I got the provari springs and they don't fit. diameter is too big so I guess cutting them is all we can do. I did bend one of them down so the sharp end does not cut into the batt and it seems to have helped some but I will probably cut it down some. I don't want to use the extension cap it is long enough with the short cap.

Ya I thought about that so I ordered the provari cleaning kit with springs.

This is going to look real nice on my Zmax, especially for $25 plus $3 shipping.
AGA-T Atomizer Tank

Heavy is putting it mildly, works well, I'm going to increase air hole size a little more what I already have.
AGA - T.jpg

I was hoping that it would wick well with the filler screw in place but that is not the case.

<~~~ BEYOND frustrated. I got my Zmax a couple of days ago but we had to order the batteries elsewhere because Mad Vapes was out of them and they STILL haven't come, 4 days after being shipped. We ended up buying some from someone else so we could actually use this. Well we followed the instructions but this thing only worked for a little while and now nothing, even after changing to a new fully charged battery, when the button is pushed it does NOTHING but light up. And no it's not in standby. The batteries work enough to light up the display but not enough to actually make it work and it is fully charged! The battery in question is a 18650 rechargeable 3.7 volt NCM 1800mah battery. Could the battery type be what the problem or is it just my luck in overdrive?

Edited to say... the reason it wasn't working was because I was so afraid to over tighten that I didn't have it tight enough...lol STILL not getting a lot of vapor though even set at 8.
