Scott_Simpson sir the 200mah aw is 1-2mm longer than the 1600mah ones with the 4 I currently own.

I'm a Brit and I don't understand half of what they're saying...
Really? I didn't know that. Thanks. So, apparently, the convention that the first two digits of a battery designation indicates diameter in mm and the second pair indicates length in mm is just an approximation which varies from manufacturer to manufacturer? I guess that must be true, since I remember reading that some 18xxx batteries are too fat for the end cap on some mods? Anyway, thanks for the correction Morandir!
Any idea where Dave is from?
2.5volts? did you mean 3.5?Just had strange issue with my ZMax. Like others have said if you replace the battery quickly none of the settings go back to default. I was switching the battery quickly and the unit fired without me pressing the button and kept firing. The menu still operated but it continued firing. I had to remove the battery to get it to stop. Cannot replicate the issue. From now on I won't try to replace battery quickly and will wait about 30 seconds or longer before putting in the new battery. It is working well again so I hope my PCB is okay. I don't think it was a pressure against the PCB issue with the battery as it was a flat top IMR 18650 1500Mah battery and never had this happen before. I am thinking maybe not enough residual charge left to keep defaults but enough to confuse the PCB when the new battery was inserted. Anyone else have a similar issue to this?
The only regular odd thing I have with the ZMax is when the battery voltage around 3.5 volts or below when I go to the menu it will display at full brightness but after a second or so it gets dimmer and stays dim. It still displays at regular brightness when vaping. I assume this has to do with the low battery voltage so I switch out my battery when it gets to 3.5 volts. I found it gets down to 2.5 to 3.4 volts it will occasionally display "LOU" but still fire. Never had it fully refuse to fire for low battery yet.

I have had this happen. Luckily mine stops after the 10 second cutoff. I have been able to replicate it, but it has only happened with my 18650s and only if I hit the button within 10 seconds of changing the battery. I need to dig out my multimeter and find if it's at a certain charged voltage or something similar.
Well, something very strange happened a few minutes ago; I left the Z sitting on my desk and went to a short meeting; when I returned, it was smoking and sizzling and had melted the mouthpiece and boiled all the liquid away. The carto was completely burned. Was too hot to even touch without something between my hands. I haven't done anything with it and have no idea if it will even work now. Later today I will install another battery and carto and see if it will fire.
Anyone else had this type of situation with the Zmax?
I have an annoying issue. I have an old Smok DC mega carto (the ego type). I can't get it to work on my zmax it just reads 0.9o. It runs fine on an ego batt at 3.2 3.7 or 4.2 (I have an ego booster).
It's a shame because I really liked the massive DC carts and was thinking of going back to them over the vivi novas or DC tanks (which I just find to be messy leaky annoying despite typical good performance).
that means its only .9 omhs and will not work on the z.And if it was supposed to be higher i would trash it before something happens .
Anything below 1.3 ohms will not work, it puts out F1 and F2 errors on display
