Another thing about the v2 stainless steel that should be mentioned is the build quality is surprisingly very sturdy with very nice threads. I have a V1 also and the new one blows it away with how it looks, feels, and performs. Overall This is my all time favorite device. It is light enough to comfortably carry. Feels extremely solid in the hand and the finish is spectacular![]()

I guess I need to "feel" it for myself but perhaps the sharp edges of the grooves would provide a better gripe on the device, just thinking
Dwcraig sir yes and no. Gives it a better grip, but on one of the grooves on mine was actually sharp enough to cut skin (have the cut to prove it). Had to sand down that edge a bit.
The edges are cut precisely; I wouldnt call them sharp per say. It is just a different material (ss vs chrome plated brass) so some variance in feel is expected
No Jackbox sir I didn't. Got mine direct from china. It's no real biggie to me, just a minor cut.
Stacked 18350's with a 2.5ohm sc carto with rms on- 3v=3.07v, 4v=4.09v, 5v=5.12v, 6v=6.13v
Stacked 18350's with a 2.5ohm sc carto without the rms turned on- 3v=4.17v, 4v=5.16v, 5v=6.08v, 6v=7.12v
Up next will be the wattage settings with 2.5ohm sc carto single 18650.

If they hold up in the long run the RMS function seems to be the magic bullet to make it a great mod. Those numbers are close enough to be right on for most but the most picky people.
Doesn't the button mechanism feel any different?
Let me answer your button question... my version 1 and 2 are pretty much the same but does have a click to it. Same goes for build quality and machining... garbage! But it is not a ProVari and I do love the performance of the product.
