Lost my stock cap anyway. Been using it on the extention cap always.
I could not resist, it was ,basically the price of a SS Vmax, $103.64 shipped w/ extension cap.
I had read that the v1 wobbles when standing up and expected that. But mine doesn't, not even a bit. Which was a nice surprise. I'm wondering if they used two different caps?? Mine is chrome.
It will not fall over if you don't stand it up, that much I can guarantee.
That cracked me up. I stand mine up all the time. I'm wondering if Smoktech made two caps. Mine is from Mad Vapes.
Weebles wobble but they won't fall down.
I just got my SS VMax V2 yesterday and at first I was very frustrated with the Menu being as all my other VV have three buttons and are very easy to use. After becoming more familar with the menu and figuring out the VW setting I really like it a lot! It is very well made and a perfect weight for me. I'm also using the extension cap with my 18650 batteries. It fits much better in my lanyard than my LT does. I'm a happy camper and enjoying my birthday present to myself!
This is just an observation and "MY" opinion but.......
It amazes me that for all the fuss V/Zmax owners had over the price of a Provari, there are an awful lot of them that own multiple V/Zmax devices!!! I don't get it that $200 bucks for an APV is way too much money, but there is no problem with buying 2+ versions of these devices. I remember when the V/Zmax pricing was announced and a lot of owners had a problem with the price point Smok set for it. It was too expensive @ $119.00 and yet there are as, (I mentioned), so many that own multiple devices and not because they are a quality unit or such, but because they added a new function or menu to it. Not to mention all the problems with caps, springs, bodies, and menus!!!
When I first ordered my Zmax, it was with the idea that it might be a fun toy to play with, and since I got it much reduced in a great co-op, I figured I couldn't get burnt too badly. The co-op was for the first, 7-menu version, but Shekinahsgroom, the co-op organizer, got us the second, 8-menu version at the same price! Outstanding co-op, and I just had to plug a great co-op host ... but I digress ...
Now that I have the version 2 Zmax with the accurate RMS option, this has moved out of the "interesting toy" category into the "serious device" realm! It now shares equal time with my ProVari and my Kicked Legacy as part of my daily vaping arsenal. Now, we will see if it can match its performance with some longevity ...
Here's my prediction: after seeing the success of the Zmax, ProVape will come out with their own VW device before the end of the year. I think they will almost have to, or lose some SERIOUS market share ... the RMS Zmax really rocks!
I am a multiple device victim! Vmax/Zmax/Zmax 2/but you can bet that I have a ProVari too! Now I need a mini ProVari, a Darwin and a bigger wallet since I want a rebuildable now!
