Great review. I've really wanted to get this mod since it was released but like others haven't found it in-stock. Great to see another authentic a a price point a lot of us can afford.
Dunno... When I bought it , it didn't say anything on the box about the maker and the listing wasn't listed with the maker

My copper clone is definitely one piece. Came from focalecig. Box looks just like Heespharm's.
edit: maybe it's not, although it looks that way. FT and FC forums have several complaints that the top cap is actually press fit and the seam is well hidden by the clearcoating. Meh, no biggie. I only purchased the clone to see if I'd like the mechanics before buying the authentic. I will most certainly be purchasing the authentic when it shows back up in stock.

Just got my SXK SS clone in the mail. VD is .2V less than my nemesis clone, with a .5 drop on a .09ohm build.
I do like the functionality of this with not having to deal with a locking ring. The groove where the coin slot is located is a little sharp so I'll have to file it a little. I do think it's a pressed in top from the outside, you wouldn't ever be able to tell but there is a noticeable seam on the inside. Overall, satisfied purchase.

To continue, this is the inside of my SXK SS clone where you can see a seam. I assume the authentic doesn't have this.
It may not be a seam... The authentics have this too to prevent shorting of batteries

2. SMPL mod isn't in stock, Epic isn't responding to emails. Bad sign. Unprofessional.
3. The copper clones are well made and worth the price.
Don't feel bad about buying a clone when the original Modder can't stock his shelves.
Bad business model, great design, poor management.....par for the course.

Workhorse for $59 for the 18500 and another $22 for the brass 18650 tube direct from the Modder, with outstanding warranty and customer service, was just too sweet of a deal to pass on .
Epic should pay attention.

Which "the" copper one are you talking about?

The top is grimy even after a polish and the 510 threading looks a bit scary, but it's a beast.

I just picked up a 15 dollar SS clone from CMC. After doing a few button tweaks this little mod is amazing to use. I have a magma with a notoriously long 510 set up right now, everything sits flush, no button extended from the bottom. This thing hits like a champ with a .5 dual coil using it with a Sammy 25r. Vape Love!!

It was very close to the authentic. Noticeable differences were thread quality and divots on the inner switch (more divots on clone than original).

TWO clones arrived today from Slow Tech blue brass & copper.
Brass one's top cap was Krap.. threads didnt allow it to seat
button on brass has sharp edges grooves dug too deep , freaking cut me
Both copper & brass hit nice.. had to use top cap from copper on brass unit to check it ...

I feel like authentic mods will always feel better in hand knowing how much you paid hahaha.
Actually holding both side by side will make you feel sad knowing how much you paid for the authentic
