This is by far my favorite mod ive ever owned, I love small compact mods and hybrid tops. I cant stand all that adjusting pins nonsense and always taking off and screwing on the top cap all the time. I almost wish I got the stainless version along with the copper and now its always sold out.
wow love your patina. My copper SMPL just wont patina. Ive come to the conclusion that my hands cant patina copper for some reason. Ive already gone through 4-5 copper mods with the same result. Im a sad panda, ive made the decision to give up on copper lol.
Edit: To give an idea this is what my SMPL mod looks like after ~3 weeks of everyday use constantly.

Dont give up on the copper! Lol hell send me the mod itll be patina'd in about a week or 2, personally I wish it wouldnt do that as fast. It gets to a point where it does it and then it comes back off from me using it, you can see on the mod where I hold it in the crease of my hand, cause its clean there. Thats why I want the stainless smpl, to give my copper a little break. And thank you!
If I was you I would keep checking out thevaporlair.com for updates. Thats where I got mine. They normally get new shipments in fairly quick.
Yes, yes I would think that lol im pretty sure if I had that good of a vape store close to me id be stuck there. But unfortunately I dont. Id ask them about it if your there one day, theyd have the best answer for you.
This MOD just rocks! The button is perfect, I'm no longer a magnet switch fan after this. It fires every single time without fail, perfect amount of resistance. The brass patina is coming along nicely. Really happy, I'm unloading a bunch of my old stuff to get another SMPL, probably in stainless.
Just pulled the trigger on a Copper SMPL from The Vapor Lair, was pleasantly surprised when I checked this morning while drinking my coffee and they were in stock, can't wait for it to arrive. Now my dilemma is when it arrives, if I like it as much as I hope to I'll probably buy the brass one as well...

Shucks... Looks like the SS is out of stock. I'm new pretty new to vaping and already own a copper mod so I've been looking for a nice SS mod. Does anyone know if the firing switch has a delrin insulator (that whole auto fire just doesn't work for me)?
The switch design relies on the battery wrapper to insulate it from the base, there is no delrin insulator required. There are other mods where I have seen this and it has not been an issue, no auto firing occurred so long as the bottom battery wrapper is in good shape and if it really concerns you(it shouldn't) you can put a layer or two of liquid electrical tape on the very top outside of the switch.
I'm a little puzzeled by the way Epic Design advertises the SMPL, when you look at their FB pages announcing another batch becoming available and the picture attached to the announcement shows the mod in 18350 in all 3 metals available, when in fact they don't sell it as a complete mod in 18350 or 18500...you'll need to purchase the 18650 and if a want a smaller one you can buy the other tubes as accessories, a flawed strategy IMO, I want one...but I don't use 18650's, and according to the rep at VaporLair...and I quote, "everybody uses 18650's"
Im sure many of you would like to own this mod in the smaller sizes, but not have to buy an 18650 you'll never use...so come on Epic, throw some switches on those smaller tubes and sell a few more mods, because not everyone uses 18650's.

Any links for the SS? I checked vapor lair and the SS is still out of stock.
Thanks. I got a couple extra cans of plasti dip laying around I'll just use that if the SS version ever comes back in stock. Right now the market is saturated with copper and although it's a great conductor and hits hard, it's high maintenance (I'm not into patina) and the metal is so soft that "snug" is really over-tightening at times. Thanks again for the info.

You know what I hate these post. Very nice mod for a really good price. You know how many times I went through the checkout stage. Things that went through my mind, damn I need this just because. I love hybrid designs and this simplicity makes me want to buy it. It's only $120 and not $199.00. It's 18650 and I don't need to buy extra tubes. They offer this in copper, ack I need this. My wife is next to me, I need to wait. Oh man why isn't she leaving.
