Was lurking in the authentic thread and thought I'd drop by here. I have an infinite clone on the way that I probably over paid a bit for ($35) but I have had nothing but good experiences with infinite clones so I thought why not. Anyone have the infinite clone and can offer words of comfort ;-) ?

88ecig is legit. Cali based store. Very professional. With an actual phone number you can call. Good luck calling that ebay seller when you have a problem.
They put vape in their web addy because advertising what you sell
Is business 101. That's why ebay has their name in all those seller's links ;)
I've bought some great mods from ebay sellers, but I wouldn't trust them over a legit store.

Yeah that came out a bit wrong, I agree though. I did check it out, bookmarked it as well thanks for the referral. The ebay guy I got my vape tech Peggy from was legit, I got the locking ring perma stuck and hit him up, shipped me a whole new bottom cap and button, and a top cap too. The white smpl and white hobo 2 I got are from ebay, but the store there has it's own site n .... in San Diego area so hope goes all good

You have nothing to worry about. I have the SS and it's seamless and has concentric machining (not linear). Infinite was the first clone to be verified one piece. Others followed. ;)

It also has perfect threads, better than the recent updated authentic from what I gather. I washed the whole thing down with isopropyl and poly cleanroom wipes, not a single dark spot was evident on the rag, so they're coming from the factory damn near Class 10 cleanroom grade. I can't say that about any mod I've ever bought besides this Infinite SMPL.

Is there any way to tell on Fasttech "which one I got" before it arrives? I tried reading through this thread, carefully, twice. The stainless SMPL I bought was one of the pricier ones (for FT) and comes in a black box with gold embossed letters that say "MOD" on the top. The title of the device specifies 1:1 and the button (if the pics are anything to go by) does appear to be a direct clone of the original instead of some of the screw in iterations of the button.

I couldn't for the life of me though, tell who actually made it, nor do any of the photos show the top well enough to determine the finish pattern to be radial or linear.

How much was it on FT? You know I just remembered that I did my first purchase on FT about a month ago and still haven't received it...

Mine is stuck in "Origen post is preparing shipment". According to 17track, it got sent to JFK and then disappeared, although, there is one troubling bit:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2015-02-16 08:13 - Shenzhen, arrived at the processing center, from Shenzhen post office express couriers

2015-02-16 08:13 - Shenzhen, left the treatment center and sent to USJFKF
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

These have the same time stamp, down to the minute, however, the "Arrived at processing center" entry is in the position "more recent" than the "Sent to USJFK"

So I can't tell if it's been sitting in a "processing center" all CNY, after leaving a "treatment center" (or what the heck the difference is), or if it got on a plane before CNY and has been stuck at JFK customs for a week.

Any guidance?

Sounds excellent to me, honestly, I've been over all very happy with my infinite clone Atty's, this would be my first infinite clone mod. With my stingray x being an Hcigar, and my old nemesis, probably a tobeco or something (definitely not infinite despite what the B&M said). Should probably get it by the end of the week.

I have an infinite Praxis clone and the quality is top notch. I'm sure their SMPL mod is the same.

Got mine from FT and it comes in a black box. From my understanding that signature of a SXK product, which Infinite sells.

Ordered mine 1/29, sat in that same center starting from 2/6.. Received it on 2/20. No update til it arrived in SF meaning they didn't update it when it shipped. Ordered well before CNY

You know what's funny. I got my Paragon clone from an Amazon seller who listed Hcigar as the manufacturer, but it came in a black box with just the word "MOD" in silver embossed letters on it. I know the Hcigar boxes are very distinctive so I contacted the seller and they assured me that the manufacturer was Hcigar... So who is SXK? Could that have been who made my Paragon as well?

Who is SXK?
SXK manufactures for Infinite.

Did you believe that Infinite was actually a manufacturer? We did too but, Infinite is only a trading company. They outsource to different factories to produce their items, and SXK is one of them.

You will not be un-satisfied with SXK's quality, it is the same quality products you buy from Infinite!

Here's an example from the FT of the US.
$29.47-$30.00 SXK Stingray X Clone Mechanical Mod -

As far as your mod, it could possibly be HCigar put in a Black MOD box he had laying around. Who knows.. ymmv

Yeah it's weird, because I just looked up the SKX paragon and it says spring loaded switch and mine is magnetic.

But also, I thought hcigar was like the top clone manufacturer, and while my paragon is pretty nice, the button unscrews itself sometimes and recently it's started to not fire every time I press it :/

HCigar is hit or miss in my experience. My HCigar Nemesis was garbage.

A more on topic post. Picked up another A-Mod SMPL the other day at a local B&M, paid too much for it, this time in black:

Really like these mods.

Saw an authentic at the B&M for $90, and almost jumped on it, but they said they were getting a v2 from Epic Designs in a couple weeks, so I thought I would wait for that. I've since checked, and have found no info on a v2, so I think the employee talked me out of a sale for no reason.

What was the shop price? My b&m doesn't sell clones...unfortunately
