Good for you! Did you get the glass version or the carbon fiber one? Would you mind telling us which one you like the best, in terms of performance, battery life, look, display menu, etc?

Thank you.

I got the carbon fiber looking one but it's still glass (or some sort of clear material) with the carbon fiber printed on the back side of it.

As for my assessment of it to date, well it is my all day vape device with a Kanger Sub Tank.

Batteries have been lasting about a week running it at 20 to 25 watts. Haven't bothered to take them out and do all the battery voodoo stuff, I put them it, put the screws on the cover and charge it off the USB port. Nothing to complain about from my point of view on that.

It's a big mod, VERY big and a little heavy so it's not a pocket mod.

As for the menu's etc. nothing to complain about there either, three clicks to access them then simply scrolling through with the +/- on the front and the fire button for enter. One thing that I had to find out on my own, you have to go to the save changes option and select it otherwise it will revert back next time it's powered off.

There are a lot of different things that can be adjusted in the menu's. You can set a time limit for different wattage ranges. You can have it vape (fire) automatically for a predetermined amount of time (why the heck does someone need that?). However the one feature in the menu I like the most, it will not allow you to take it above 80 watts without selecting the higher wattage range. Why you ask do I like this, well just the other day I was holding it and apparently had the + button pushed so when I went to hit the fire button on my KST I was almost on the ground with the nasty, burnt, harsh draw. I had run it up to 80 watts (maybe the auto lock is intended for people like me) but had it not been protected above 80 watts I likely would have been inhaling fire when I hit the button if it had run up to 260 watts. I don't know what a Kanger coil will do at 260 watts but I suspect just before the coil explodes into two or more pieces it would light the organic cotton on fire along with the juice, and yes juice does burn I've used it many times to light on fire to oxidize SS screen on Genesis style atty's.

My one complaint is the aforementioned auto-lock feature. It's factory set for 3 minutes which can be adjusted from 1 to 10 minutes. My complaint isn't that it auto-locks rather that I'm not given the option to disable it. The other part I don't care for is having to press the + & - together to unlock it. Not a deal breaker and been vaping non-stop with it since I got it.

Anything smaller than a Kanger Sub Tank looks tiny on it but again, not a deal breaker.

The fit and finish is average, I own better and I own much worse. The screen can be hard to see in direct sunlight and looks a little fuzzy to my eyes through the glass. Buttons are tactile, they click and they work every time.

I'm not into the whole stup-up, buck, step-down, PWM, blah blah blah debates. I set it to the wattage I want, push the button and on the same tank it vapes exactly the same as my IPV3 and Sigelei. As for what it shows for Ohm's, matches my stand alone ohm meter so it's close enough for me.

As for which one I like the best, well I like all three and use all three. The SMY isn't a carry around pocket mod. As for the other two, they don't have some of the features of the SMY but I don't use the features the SMY does have so that's a wash.

I grab for the SMY more often than the other two but when I head out of my office I drop one of the smaller ones in my pocket.

I guess there is no real favorite, they all three fire in my usual 20 to 30 watt range perfectly, they fire my RDA's in the 50 to 70 watt range perfectly and battery life is equal on the Sigelei and IPV but the SMY lasts longer but that's expected comparing 2 batteries to 3 firing the same resistance tanks.

I like the magnetic battery doors on the Sigelei and SMY which the IPV does not have. I like the looks of the IPV3 a little better than the other two but having to take screws out to charge the batteries is a little bit of a PITA. Haven't found a charger that will work with the IPV.

If I were to have to pick only one I would probably go for the Sigelei since it's more than capable of firing what I have, has the magnetic battery door, is somewhat pocket friendly and the price is well within reason.

I picked one up yesterday. It was a moment where I had more money than common sense, but regret hasn't set in yet, like all other purchases have. My only regret isn't in buying it, it's in not having ad RDA worthy of it yet. My main reason for the purchase was to have something that can easily power some of these very wild coils I've seen. With my mechs, they struggle to warm up things like the fused clapton coil, which is one I'm still trying to perfect. This is proof that this is more hobby with me than anything.

Between this and my wooden McFarland Mod, they are both basically desk queens...not designed or built for in town driving and such. However, when I go to the local vape lounge with them, I've got everything i need for true vape satisfaction...no matter what I'm vaping.

↑ Very nice, thank you.

I think this will be the highest wattage mod ever made and it will be a collectible to me. 20 years down the road and I can tell the younger vapers that once upon a time, there were two 260 watt mods ever made and I still own one of them and it's still working like a beast, lol.

Well, before SMY even had this one to market there was a 400W mod out there. However it's more of a DIY thing and looks like it was assembled by a junior high school science class.

As of right now the Variant and this SMY are the highest powered mass produced that I know of.

The only two complaints i can think of is i wish it had a spring loaded pin and if you're not using the screws to hold the battery cover on, the cover can slide up or down. I know thats a small thing and a little bit picky but it does kinda suck. All in all i love it. You can vape just about any tank or rda from 5-260 watts. What is there to not like about that?!?!

I am about to buy an smy260. A nitecore d4 charger as well and 3 new batteries for it. From research show I need 30a batteries to hit the 260 mark. What ones are you guys using? I have also read about making sure to get continuous 30a ones (like vtc5 or 4's) but those are hard to find authentic now. So lg has a bunch of 35a ones and efest does as well. Price point looks good on the lg's but there are different models throwing me off.

I'm using the Efest 35a batteries but I know the limitations of them and have not pushed the box to the point of jeopardizing the health of the batteries or my hands.

Look alright, but after my dual battery segelie 150 I can't imagine how big 3 batteries would be. Maybe like vaping on my Intelicharger. LOL I'm not gonna knock anyone who buys this, but I don't even use 150 watts on my mod, I just bought it because going 4 days without having to charge my batteries is beautiful (1.5ohm at 30watts) and it's sturdy as hell

Perfectly happy with my DNA 40s typically around 20W. I don't cloud chase and the only subohming I do is because of the Ni200. It did fire a Ni200 build with a base resistance of .31.

And I never knock anyone for buying anything unless and until I am paying their bills. Otherwise, it's none of my concern.
