Thanksgiving Day, 1969, I was in Savannah, Georgia. The mess hall crew treated us like royalty. They put on a Thanksgiving feast, like we would have gotten at home, turkey, potatoes, cranberry sauce, all the fixins. It wasn't the left over WWII canned stuff either, all good fresh food.

I would have loved to have seen it. Moose are pretty cool and very ugly.
Dinner is done. Went well. Was nice to have most everyone there. Cranberry sauce was good (and so was everything else. Everyone did great.) People are collapsing now. I'm checking on the Lions game...the Lions won!
