Frisk-E is learning about the squirt bottle coupled with a resounding "NO".

We have a therapeutic squirt bottle too for Abby! Anytime she comes near the kitchen, all we have to do is show the bottle, but of course now, she thinks it's a game, and sticks her hind quarters in the air wagging her tail and thinks I'm gonna chase her......
She is stubborn and slowly but surely, is learning some manners.

That's great,Bear:)

Well, no... it'll be great when she stops the offending behaviour and I no longer need
to yell and spray water. The water scares her... the yell does nothing. But "NO!" put
together with water simultaneously should - in time - make "NO!" enough... and then
work to stop it totally. I will NOT give her a swat. Nope.

Hubs is sick of the rain already though we need it. I'm just sick of the cold. 80+degrees,fans going, windows open to 46 with the wood stove going. It's a bit much.

Same here. Yesterday, I couldn't stand the humidity, today I'm in warm clothes and have the heat on. My plants still don't know what to do. At least it's not going to freeze tonight, but it feels like it. Some nice sunny days in the 70s would be good about now. My smallest pup just lays in front of the heater.

You want me to go back to "Part 1" and take a peek??? :D

I cheerfully drove past the casino exit, in both directions. I will wait until My Casino Hag
and I can agree on a date. We are way past due.

If you have an electric skillet, melt a bar of butter, saute some onions, ( I like mine almost black), throw on some salt or seasoned salt and pepper, brown them, add water, let them cook down. Delicious....

Oops, put the lid on after you brown them and add water. Take lid off when they are almost done and let the water cook all the way down. They will be beautifully browned and extremely tasty and tender.

Coincidental you mentioned electric skillet. It's out, heated up and simmering a quick marsala
sauce. Had to resort to canned 'shrooms, though. Then the chops will just simmer in that until
the sauce has thickened up considerably.

Marsala CAN be paired with beef or pork, not JUST chicken or veal like some folks think.

Yes, but breaded was last time. I am not allowed to repeat a meal (prep-wise)... he's a mean and
demanding Husbear! :) And I tried "panko" breading last time. It was like glass shards. Tossed the
rest of it out for the birds.
