... it is a DAMN SHAME that these kinds of benefits are NOT offered to seniors who would
also qualify via income tiers. For example: my Dad. He shells out something like $159/month
from his SS for Medicare... then he hands over $100/month for "medigap". And his co-pays,
co-
insurance and overall scope of benefits comes nowhere NEAR what is offered in the full
benefits sheet I am now looking at.
While I am grateful for what 2016 holds... it is VERY disturbing the seniors are still being - well -
GOUGED. (Yes, I get that seniors are high-risk and the economics of it and algorithms and
stuff... but it remains boggling.)
