Dang, time to close the Sept ledger and start October's!

Yep. End-of-Quarter financial spreadsheet update MUST be done today. :(
When "things" are going well, I update weekly. But this past couple of months
has been a horror show in the markets, so I've been avoiding it like the plague.

:: sigh ::

Good "Trepidadtion Thursday" to all who see this.

Go to prosthodontist later today for (possible) first set of impressions. He "has
to do an initial assessment first" (ie: healing progress, but most likely to find MORE
things wrong which will mean MORE oral surgery and ANOTHER 2-3 months
healing. Because that's how they work. They're all in cahoots with kickbacks
flying back and forth like a "cloud of bats" - the actual term.)

Good morning Bear :)
Stop borrowing trouble! Remember how surprised (pleasantly) you were with the previous surgery ;)

It's not the surgery, Daleron. It's the "OH! Now you need to get THIS done, or THAT done
before we are able to take impressions."

I do not trust (almost) any doctor. They LIVE to find things wrong... refer... get kickback...
prescribe a pill... get a vacation from the manufacturer. Please tell me you don't actually
believe they are totally looking out for US. That's why I keep ANY minor ache or pain TO
MYSELF.

Oh no Bear, I certainly do not believe that doctor's & dentist's are more interested in MY welfare than their own!
I have to be truly miserable and unable to get any relief before I'll see a doctor!

Morning Bear....yea, and I'll bet he finds 8 more teeth that need surgery, too!! :w00t:

The "first opinion" place said I required having 2 "Torus mandibularis" removed
at $2400 EACH. EACH. (Plus sedation at $495.) In addition to the 7 teeth.

The doc I decided to go with made no mention of my (apparently gargantuan :D)
"Torus mandibularis" :D. But let's just see how that goes today, shall we?!?!

Sounds like the doctor you went with is pretty fair and not seeking to make money with unnecessary work. Hope so, anyway....good luck...:)

Considering what he charges for the partials, I should hope not. But as
I mentioned before, the price is all-inclusive for 2 years follow-up
visits, adjustments/re-linings, or failures. It EXcludes adding new teeth
to the partials, which I "get".
