... of the 10 at the table, 6 had their faces buried in their phones the vast majority
of the time. Boors!!! Hus kept begging me to NOT say anything, so I sat there
and just stewed
.

...which was amazing since I went through almost the entire bottle of VERY-decent
meritage (on the table, along with a white which I won't touch) PLUS a glass from
the open bar. HEY... it was OPEN and NOBODY ELSE wanted any.

I hate upright vacuums. "They're too BIG and HEAVY."

And also... there are knobs and levers and buttons all over the damn thing,
with NONE of them labeled as to their function. (Pretty sure the manual
is long gone.) I could NOT get the cord to retract and thought "oooooo...
I'ma gonna catch hell later for pulling it out too far". Come to find out, there
is a tiny button, the same colour as the vacuum body. So, yeah... it stands
right out!

*MY* canister: on/off (LABELED as "power") and floor height adjustment
(LABELED as xlow/low/med/hi). That's it! Simplicity!

Viva la canisters!!!

On to the bathroom for cleaning!

Pace yourself, Bear!

    Birds?

Our deck is a hive of activity at the moment with squirrels and birds ... haven't seen my little chipmunk lately tho' :(

Birds? It would have to be a velociraptor to down THOSE things!!!

Yep... squirrels by the dozen... bluejays... all clamoring for peanuts.

No sign of Oreo today. :(

Nah, those Bluejays will carry all kinds of stuff off to peck at elsewhere!

No Oreo? I gather he tends to roam?

I got through on the 1414 line. after about 6 minutes on hold a nice lady asked for my comment, after which she said that it was wonderful that I'd called.

Apparently some white house volunteer operators are friendlier than others (i started by identifying my self as Dr. CES... I don't often play that card, but it's a must for contacts with the government)

Yea, I tried that number. A lady answered "White House", I went into my spiel and she hung up on me.
That is the main switchboard number. When I called it, the lady answered "White House", I said I wanted to comment on the FDA Deeming and Ecigarette. She put me on hold and transferred my call to the right department. Hmmmmm Sounds like you got a witch (with a capital B in place of the W).

    Try again, please!
