Otherwise, some town or whatever had a pro show ...
could hear it way off in the distance.

Must have been this... no others in yesterday's paper:

I guess the FDA just approved a new medicine (pill?) for dogs to deal with fireworks fear...must be some kind of anti-anxiety thing.

Of course, sounds like they're a day late and probably a few million dollars short....for this year. Maybe next year.

The spoiled rich kid behind me started in at midnight last night,I tried to be nice and ask loudly for them to stop shooting them over my house and got lip so the cops ask them next.
Midnight is completely unacceptable. Even the 10pm (as noted above) is a
little late. There ARE people who actually need to work on Sunday mornings.

Anything tonight will piss off Hus since he works on Monday. And it will piss
me off just on principle.

We *love* Fourth Of July here!!!

Some people are just stupid! They have no compassion for others/manners. I mean, EVERYONE knows that personal fireworks should STOP by midnight at the latest. That gives people a reasonable 2 hour window.

I blame the parents.

--- ALL YOU COILING SNAILS ---

Say, hypothetically, someone wanted to dip their toes into
the Coiling Pool and give it a shot:
... which two (2) gauges of wire might they consider
... what material should that wire be

This hypothetical person likes sub-ohm vaping (has found
0.3 - 0.7 pre-made coils to be good) and is not at all
    interested in temperature control.

    ..........

Off to "Dad Sunday". Back in a while.

Bear, I use mostly 28g wire in kanthal and recently bought SS316L in 28 g. Lots of folks use 30, but that's a bit too tiny for me.
    I'm not interested in TC.

    I buy them at Kanthal
    Or
    Wire Cable & Terminals

Kanthal and/or stainless steel , 28 or 26 gauge would be my suggestions.
Kanthal is only good for wattage, stainless steel will do for both wattage or TC in case you change your mind down the road.

Sitting on the deck taking a break from the prep work for upcoming
250' hedgerow pruning. There are people next door (elderly lady's
place) doing stuff and one of the 2 little rugrats that will be living
there in October came to the property line and was watching me.
    He's 4... 5 tops. I'm happily vaping on a Cuboid w/ Cubis tank,
making a decent amount of cloud. I wave ( ) and he waves
back. Then he walks toward me, tentatively, and ends up on the
deck. Still just staring at me and the clouds. He then points to
    the mod and says...

(--- "FROM THE MOUTHS OF BABES" ALERT ---)

    "THAT IS NOT A CIGARETTE!"

    :) :) :) :) :)

    Now... if a 4 year-old knows it IS NOT A CIGARETTE, why can't a
government agency FULL OF ADULTS realize the same thing???

(I had to come in and tell that story while fresh in my memory.)
