Found out last night that our customer bought the car from an ad on Craigs List. Seller told him the battery was dead and the starter was gone. Well,the battery is brand new and fully charged and there's nothing wrong with the starter.

Highly possible that the timing belt broke. If so it's highly likely to have bent the values. So yes,it would need a motor.

Then why are they called "motor vehicles"? And why is it called
the "Department of Motor Vehicles"?
