Oh... that one.

Much of it is disposable personal rants and raves.

I was hoping for a thread about Deeming that really just stays on-topic
and provides updates as to what is REALLY HAPPENING, in kinda real
time. If I want to read about people blowing off steam, there are 1000s
of threads on ECF to choose from.

I completely "get" the cost DIY .vs. buying premixed. It's not really news to me.
The NN starter kit is awaiting my first foray into DIY. I also bought their premixed
in the same flavours as the DIY flavours to see how well I am able to replicate them.
That ASSUMES I will even like their premixed stuff.

For me, though... guess I'd rather vape stuff that tastes good and costs more than
stuff which is unsatisfying and nasty and costs less. Ruth's Chris .vs. Taco Bell, and
all that.
Yeah. I caught that.
You just set me into "calculation mode" when you mentioned price per ml.

I wasn't really comparing the two in any other terms. Just daily vape costs. I get that you want the premium juice. :)

^ The enjoyment and satisfaction (all personally subjective) will be key in
getting me off regular cigs completely. The destination dictates the journey.
When I started, I paid for premium juice.
I also purchased a "kit"...came with all sorts of do-dads and stuff, including an inexpensive plastic "tackle box" for storing said do-dads. I had 2 dozen flavors*, gloves, pipettes, flavorings, mix-ins (EM), base, PG, VG, a little itty-bitty funnel, and even some menthol crystals (yuck), and I spent a lot of time not only vaping premium stuff, but also fiddling with DIY recipes.

All just to obsess about it and get over the cigs. Gave me something to do. Then there was the hardware side (modding).

So I totally get that and support you doing what works.

However, with this new FDA stuff, I'm keeping track of DIY costs now too. Like I said, going to have to order more nic base and also GALLONS of PG/VG.

* = Not a real #...figurative. IDK how many.

NYS is proposing legislation that will prohibit sales of vape equipment within
    1/2 mile of any school.

Which is also the distance any registered sex offender must live away
    from any school or daycare.

Vape Shop Owners = Sex Offenders.

Are these people under the impression that teens don't travel when out of school? That the only time they'd buy e-cigs is at some school-break?

    What about weekends?

None of this makes any sense.

I understood and support the no-cig-billboards near schools rule when they still had those. But that's marketing, not stores. Stores are everywhere and they sell stuff. Age verification rules apply anyway.

    Yep!

But NY wants to one-up the FDA/Deeming by establishing a radius around
chil'len gathering places. But they forgot playgrounds. They also forgot
baseball/football/soccer fields. Ice cream shops (if there are any anymore).
Daycare centers are not specified, either. I'm shocked.
