Ophthalmologist appointment went very well this morning....extremely grateful!
Granddaughter is supposed to come this weekend and stay overnight.......she wants to learn how to cook some of Nana's dishes......so went food shopping, but I'm ready for a late afternoon nap.

They'll remember you even more fondly for generations if you write them down in a "book"... or index cards. Or RECORD them.
(I only say this because my Mom only has SOME of Grandma's recipes...she knows them best. Her older sister has Alzheimer's so she doesn't remember anymore. Mom is forgetting too...but she has some written down. I think I've posted GrandMa's depression-era spaghetti dish. My GrandPa's pickled herring recipe is probably lost forever.
