Whole house knockout cleaning is almost done. I have 1 shower that needs to be scrubbed down and 2 bathroom floors that need to be mopped--and then I'm done. The windows really need to be done inside and out. I don't do windows. I had a couple guys clean them 2 years ago and they charged like $200. Well worth the expense.

Heading to the pool early today around 11am. it looks like we'll have more sun earlier than later.

Still no rain. I'm watering the small front lawn and grass on other side of sidewalk. I hand water it with the hose every other day for about 5 to 10mins. It keeps it looking nice without pushing the water bill too high. There's no water restrictions in place as of yet and no rumors there's going to be one. But you have to believe we are going to be in the position the West is in if the drought continues. Fortunately, I've found a place that has a lot of water: the pool.

Have a good one, people & Tibby. But not too good of a one.

If u need me, I'll be on Twitter. And am I having fun!! I signed up because Elon was buying it?:?: I am happy to say that after 4 months I haven't been banned or put in a time-out. However, I did receive a warning from twitter saying this:
We have received a complaint regarding your account,**************, for the following content:In accordance with applicable law and our policies, Twitter is now withholding the reported content in Germany, specifically for sections of German law related to hate speech or unconstitutional content, §§ 86, 86a 130 StGB.
My transgression was posting a pic of Hitler with his hands clinched and raised in the air next to a famous American politician with his hands clinched and raised in the air. I'll leave it there. Apparently, it's against the law to post pictures of Hitler in Germany. :?:

Not looking good right now, still having problems loading the liquid hydrogen (leak at fill hose/seal/port). That stuff is like -420F, so it can be tricky to get materials that don't break down. They've tried several times now to "reset" it and keep filling, but no go. So now they're debating "next steps". Again. :/ Update due shortly.

They're recommending a "no go" to the launch director. :( Maybe Monday.

Bird (sparrow) in the house. Ugh. Cannot find.

Clare brought it in, dropped it, then it flew off who-knows-where.

It will probably die and then start to stink.

Eventually maggots.

Poor bird !!

Don't worry. It will probably poop a lot before it dies, so check the floors and furniture. You'll track it. :D

Maybe Monday.
Hopefully they're able to resolve the issue on the pad. News conference on the NASA channel said that if they need to roll Artemis/SLS back to the VAB for repairs then mid October would be the soonest. All depends.

I realize LH2 is tricky to deal with. But you'd think they'd have that down down after 50+ years.
From what they said on the NASA channel the connector on the tank is an updated version to that which was used on the Shuttle tanks.

I kind of expected they would have 1 or 2 no-goes. It's a completely new system. They are being cautious with what they learned throughout the Shuttle program (rightfully so IMO).

Still, I'm pumped about all the possibilities the Artemis/SLS program has in store for the future. Learn how to live on the south pole of the Moon. Then launch to Mars from the orbiting Moon station. What's not to like. :)

Now I wanna be an astronaut all over again. Guess I never grew up !!!
