Good morning, Atty :). Did you get your shopping done?
Yeah, mostly.

I'm at the perpetual stocking-stuffer stage whereby I'm never happy with the results and/or I'm broke so not happy with the results, but mostly I'm done and could "go with it" now. I'll most likely run out today and get a few things just for giggles.

GF has a cold. Avoiding her place until Christmas. Telephone is the greatest invention ever, thanks A.G.B. et al.

Cousin-Wheels called yesterday and left a message while I was out ...he's looking for a ride on Tuesday...I haven't called him back yet despite his demand that I do so; just wasn't in the mood.

Oh, and Comcast x-finity is out again. They have tons of problems with that. Hate it when it doesn't work, love it when it does. IDK what the hell their malfunction is. It comes and goes, looks to be networking and/or server-central issues.

You?

Oh, and the lovely state of MI is charging me $98.00 for license tabs for the privilege of driving...on a nearly 20 year old car.

They go by original sale value, not current-value based calc like they used to. Money grab. Basteds. I have to do that next...either now or next week. I'll probably go into next week. Every year. Sheesh.

Money sure doesn't buy happiness, but it buys a hell of a lot of convenience and stress reduction. ;) Unless you're Bear...

And I could be dishonest and sell the car to someone and have them sell it back to me. That would greatly reduce the sale-value and thus save on tabs (I think...I'm not sure, but ...) I hate to go through that as a "tax" dodge because the state has it's head up it's posterior. I don't want to sell my honesty out like that.

I've been done. Do it all online. Sorry about GF, this is her second round of being sick recently. She needs some vitamin D3!! :)

    It was going around work.

She had the week off and almost missed it. But ...schedule stuff happened...and she had to go into work Mon and Tue...and she picked it up. :(

She's usually done by then anyway, and it gives her time to wrap and watch Christmas movies. ;)

Veal is done. To be sauced and parm'd on Sunday.

    Next: Start 48-hour sauce!!!

Running a bit behind. My fave SVU episode was on and I just HAD TO
stop and watch it. Because this, and all... you know... :

    bcampbell.jpg

The episode ends with "We, the jury, find the defendant ..." and cut
    to credits.

They did an online poll of the verdict. 60% found that man ^ "not guilty".

    :) :) :) Yay my online peeps!!! :) :) :)

20% guilty. 20% mistrial... by "hung" :D jury. That could not happen
because that's NOT how the foreman would word the verdict.

The only thing he's guilty of is NOT living here. (Oh... and maybe NOT
keeping his neck neatly trimmed. But that could be fixed easily.)
