Every time the car is serviced at The Dealership, I get a letter
from Sirius saying I am entitled to 2 months free. I always take
it, but never extend it. I do like their channel "Studio 54"...
much like the stuff on the iPod. But I do not like it enough to
continue paying for the music.

Studio 54 - Ultimate Classic Dance - SiriusXM Radio

(When I bought the car in 2008, it came with 2 years of Sirius,
and that channel is where I first heard...)...

and

:)

("...I'm like a dog to get you...")

Ty-Grr did three (3) of his behaviours (in the last 18 hours) that stopped cold
when Claire arrived...

...he slept right up by the pillows on the bed last night
...he jumped up on the kitty-food prep table this morning to watch and get
to lick the can whist I mushed up the stuff in the bowls
...he came in from outside, jumped on a living room sofa, and did his male
cat "mating caterwauling"

I hope those were signs he's finally calming down and accepting her presence.

    Cool :thumb:

And if anybody is suffering from withdrawal from my annual "IT'S NOT MY TREE
BUT LOOK AT THE :censored: I HAVE TO DEAL WITH" rants, just speak up. I
have a new one for this year... despite that OTHER tree being taken down. Grrr.
Oh boy  Another tree saga?

Bring it on, Bear, bring it on!!!

    Well, alrighty then!...

Let's move from the past 10-15-year SOUTH side of the property to the
NORTH side. OTHER neighbours this time.

Tall, non-beneficial (no shade, no purpose) maple has been encroaching
INTO my arborvitae. It is now OVER garage roof and - if we get a good
ice storm or strong winds - could very well take out power, phone and DSL.

Prevailing winds the last 2 weeks have been TOWARD the south, meaning
MY side yard, roof, gutters, driveway and north-facing shrubs are simply
LOADED with THEIR leaves. Damn it all.

OK... the leaves can be cleaned up. I'm concerned about falling branches
or limbs taking out power, telephone and internet.

I called the power company and they will not do anything unless the limbs
are TOUCHING the wire. Same for the phone company.

However, they BOTH would be "more than happy" to be there if a private
tree trimming company comes by so they can disconnect and lower the
lines while the limbs are cut. *RIGHT* A tree service AND power company
AND telephone company coordinating on the same date at the same time.

    Like THAT could EVER happen.

But... it is NOT MY TREE and I should NOT have to PAY for ANY service.
That is THEIR tree. And, yet again, it all comes down in MY yard.

    f:censored:k everybody.

    There. Happy? @Katmar @daleron

Not happy for you, Sweetie. Good luck with that. Can't you talk to the owners?
