morning. Gov. Rick Scott has declared a State of Emergency as a precautionary move. I have company flying in tomorrow morning. We'll make a decision later today whether they will make the flight or cancel. I'm telling them to come on down. Misery does like company.

Irma's rated as a category 4 hurricane. which means winds of up to 156 mph with catastrophic outcomes.
Why me? I knew I should have stayed on the west coast of florida.

Good morning all.

Fingers crossed that Irma changes her mind and decides to settle down some. scary, especially after Harvey.

Construction has actually been moving forward- roof and siding are on, the wall insulation is up, and they've moved the door and wall that will allow us to ove the washer and drying into the mudroom. drywall and deck are next (waitng for an inspector to look at the holes for the deck footings before they can build the deck) . Hopefully work will continue to move forward....
