Yeah, I guess lemon-juice (or other acid) works too. But it can partly-cook the fish I guess.

I read an article recently about milk taking all the fishy taste out of fish.

We prefer cod over haddock because it has little fishy taste.

We soak our calves liver in milk and no odor and no knife needed.......sauteed onions accompany it.
