How insensitive.

I drove down a week ago Monday arriving on tues (I got home on Thurs afternoon). I got there early and found a large trash receptacle outside the door of my condo. hmmmm. I figure it was for the whole complex. Nope. Apparently, the individuals that rented the condo for August trashed the place.

I was told by the "condo manager," Tony, that the cleaning lady showed up and left. So he and another individual had been cleaning the place all day. I was told it was ready at 3:22pm. Check-in time is 3pm. The couch had stains all over it and was soaken wet along with the carpeting in the main living area. That's the short version.

I said no way. I'm not spending thousands of dollars for this place. I received my $$ back the next day from Airbnb. I drove 40 hours in 4 days. lol

The Pepper is almost back to his normal jovial self. It's been tough. I would appreciate everyone taking it easy on the Pepper--AND THAT MEANS YOU, TIBBY!!!!!

I've decided to stay home for the rest of the year. I am working on a 3 to 4 month trip starting in Feb and ending in May or June. It's going to be epic.
