    No you can't
Just unpacked an order of fifty boxes of mac & cheese. Not that I didn't have any on hand but the price was good - what the hell why not I said to myself. Some how someway I think I've become a prepper. You'll get one guess what's for lunch?

    What brand?

    Powdered cheese or "deluxe"?

If it's powdered, may I suggest substituting
the milk (or your choice of non/dairy product)
with two raw eggs? And double the butter.

it's official, she's gone.:( My baby is all grown up.:( She's officially in college. It took her 5 days to get back to me with my tweet. It's like Uncle Pepper doesn't exist anymore. She did apologize and said she was sorry and she had been really bz. lol She sent me a pic of her dorm room. She's rooming with 2 other girls. Rather than community showers, each room is set-up to have 3 students and one bathroom--for 3 girls. lol

    Happy Afternoon, people and tibby.;)

p.s. she made it point to say her bed is on the right--the made up one, kinda. lol

Kraft cheesiest and thick and creamy. I always add a little milk. Tried powdered once there never be a second time.

I'm home! GF had her chemo for today. Got her to pick up some food too, she's not been eating real well.

So remember I said I'd stay occupied by watching the blow back from the speech last night? Well, I heard something at work that's been going around, and should be hitting a peak soon. Google "Dark Brandon" and have fun finding memes. I'm about to do just that.

See ya later for sign-off. TGIF on a 3-day weekend!

So, the squeezy cheese one in a pouch.
    Sometimes labeled as "delux(e)". STILL
needs a little something to thin it out.

You ordered FIFTY boxes of it?!?! Holy
cow. See, I'll use it in a pinch but not
as a diet staple. As a stay at home
ordinary hausfrau, I almost always plan
ahead. I do get backed into a corner
every now and then. Part of the job.
I'm 66 and not as sharp as I once was.

It's the powdered one that requires a lot
    of doctoring. A lot. @AttyPops

PLENTY of each in the basement.

But never EVER is any variety used as a
main course. It's ALWAYS a side dish.

Know what else is good with it?... raw
    diced onions.

talking about store-bought - my friend in ny who for decades would make a pot of sauce every sunday informed me she has switched to rao's marinara sauce. i was surprised to find it on the shelf of my local foodlion. i have to admit it's a decent sauce!
