One small note about the Davide Mini (not sure if it applies to the full-size Davide as I don't have one) - there are 3 'relatively' small fill-holes. I'm able to fill using a dropper bottle without a problem - 98% of the time; but I'm very patient and forgiving .

Using a needle-tip bottle (or one with a tip like the picture below) would be easier.

It was in the 30s here this morning...my apartment building hasn't turned on the heat yet

(Baths) Yes... but if the water freezes, it expands and causes the bowl to crack. I've gone through many over the years. I have a copper one that goes out in the Winter with a heater, and I move 4 feeders nearby. Poor birds. I don't understand how their little bodies just don't freeze solid.
