We are dead in the water until a warning label can be affixed to the bucket. And that's a bigger deal than it might seem. There are very specific requirements. A rep with the company that makes Discreet snus said it will cost $40,000 to put warning labels on its products. Until that can be done, old products can be sold but new ones can't replace them.
I desperately need a new bucket of SnusX. It became my standard -- and now I can't get one from any usual online seller.

I don't know if they will or not but I doubt that we are a large enough group to influence their decision.
I say vacuum pack the snusx product,before delivery,hence a small label...

I sent V2 an email asking when SnusX would again be available for online ordering. This was their reply: "At this moment they do not accept us orders on that.

Strange, V2 has done well in catering to the US market. I can't imagine why Northerner or V2 can't just stick on those little warning stickers they used to put on all the cans. It's not like like they'd have to do 1000 buckets at a time like the cans. Am I missing something? Frank from Northerner says the cost of adding the stickers adds up, which I can see, but since they used to do it with every single can sold in the US and made a profit, the buckets should be worthy.
I don't get it either, TV. I really want several buckets of SnusX cause I'm feeling the ban noose tightening around everything I use and enjoy. Just put a single sticker on the can and ship it!
I managed to get one bucket o' SnusX prior to PACT. I LUVS me some SnusX, but then, I AM a customization freak anyway. What I really want to see is a bucket o' loose SnusX. Could you imagine? One could order several flavors from Fairie's Finest (even if they DID contain oils) and have a different flavored snus every week. One could snus pomegranate (which would HAVE to be better than Mocca's bubble gum flavored 'pomagranate') in week 1, chocolate-mint snus in week 2, cinnamon-coffee in week 3, and maybe eggnog-pie spice snus for the holidays? (I doubt it would beat Julesnus, but still.)
I just hope V2 get on the stick.

I like the SnusX too...plain even. I emailed V2 about los a month or 2 after they came out with the portions and they replied it was in the works. Don't know if they're still working on it, though. After I got a good hoard stashed pre-Pact I kinda lost interest in what was going on in the world post-Pact.
I doubt they make as much money on the buckets as they do selling individual cans. I bet that is the real reason.
Actually V2 has stated recently over at snuson that they are about to bring back the snusx bucket. They have it okayed by the FDA and are working on the labels. And yes, V2 did have a loose version that was out very temporarily before the PACt act kicked in. Hopefully they will bring that back.... and the flavorings.
I never tried the snus x bucket and honestly don't know if I will if it's available again. I am not really into diy that much and only have a couple regular tobacco flavors that I like. Who knows though, if I was placing an order, it might tempt me.
The SnusX bucket has 480 hits, for like 25 bucks. That's the equivalent of 20 cans of snus. I did the first 5 cans worth without flavoring and loved it, primarily because it's such a mild nic hit, which is my preference. The unflavored portions are VERY dry and have a distinct soapy taste when you first put them in. That soapy taste doesn't last long. I totally get off on plain tobacco flavored snus so I LOVED the SnusX. Because I did about 5 cans without the flavoring, I decided I would use the spearmint flavoring in thirds for the remaining portions. (I only flavor 5 cans at a time.) What that meant was, the SnusX portions would be over-flavored, receiving 1/3 of the flavoring per 5 cans, instead of 1/4 of the flavoring. Without a doubt it gave me the BEST mint flavored snus I had ever had. The spearmint was so overpowering, you couldn't even detect the mild soapy flavor and every single portion I did left me feeling as if I had just brushed my teeth. It was like a breath mint that delivered a mild nic hit at the same time. I want BUCKETS of SnusX. MORE, MORE, MORE!
If my memory serves me right the snusX loose is 900 grams for the same price as the portions. That's a lot of snus for $25
The interesting thing about the loose is that it is not dehydrated as the portions are. It's just a big bucket of loose snus with the standard 50% moister level. It's equal to about 2 rolls of loose snus.
Stubby, were you half asleep when you posted that or did you just reword it wrong. The other option is that it's too early in the morning and my mind is not functioning properly. Either way, could you explain what I'm trying to understand?

A roll of loose is 450 grams as a can has 45 grams. That's compared to 24 grams for portions. So... 900 grams is equal to 2 rolls of loose snus. So yes it does contain more snus then the portions SnusX just as a standard can of loose has more snus then a can of portions.
