I ran out of juice and had to make an emergency trip to my local vape shop while waiting for some to arrive.

I was really surprised how their prices on juice had come down to pretty much match the prices online and its the same juice i buy regularly.

I also was able to recycle some old batteries. So it really was a win. Just really grateful to have this place just a few minutes away for cases like today.

More people need to support their local vape shops. Even if the prices are a buck or two higher. If they don't they won't be there when you need them. Some states are passing legislation banning out of state sales, too.
Our small town shops can't afford the inventory to cover all vapers. I do stop in at the better ones a few times a year but they just don't carry what I'm interested in honestly.

Talk to 'em. Our local B&M will order what you want...

ETA: of course, the guy that runs the place - and he seriously knows what he's doing - will give you an earful when you start talking about how it's so much cheaper online LOL.

Our shops mostly use Midwest Vape Supply and have to order 3 of wire, tips, juice, etc. When I can spare the extra cash I'll have our local shop order me an atty once in a while.

I would but their liquid prices are at least double and a mod is 4 times the price you find online. I do go occasionally and buy the clearance liquid. It's at online prices so I try. I just can't afford most of their products.

As long as there are Smok users (bless their hearts) there will be B&M shops.
Many a coil to sell. :D
That's what the younger crowd around here buys, that or voopoo. He has 3 Hex mods that's been sitting there since he opened.

I still get a kick of the young guys with a TFV whatever tank on a G Class, no clue as to what the mod will do just that it was expensive. Same thing when the Lava Boxes first hit the shelves, DNA in VW mode.

None of the B&M shops down here carry what I use either. I still pop into them from time to time for a visit and chat, I'm the old guy with all the weird vape gear. :vapor:

I wonder in to the local shop looking very natty with grey hair slicked back to look stylish while sporting a mechanical squonker - I understand what you are talking about, TD.

But you know what those mods are capable of, these puds haven't a clue. Their eyes just glaze over if you try and explain it to them.

You would be right at home at the shop here, we have quite a few older regulars who run RTA/RDAs and even one old guy who makes his own mods. Good coffee and vape chat, they've even fogged out the place a time or two.

I try to support my local shop. I even have a $75 gift card for the place and still cant find anything i would buy. When i ask them to order something, like a topside for example, they want around $65 plus the $75 card for it, and I just cannot justify that. Most things that im interested they don't carry and wont order like single coil RDAs and mech squonk mods.

Plus, as of recently, this shop is getting a little weird about having mechs in the building (the owner is a non vaper and is ignorant to the whole subject) and I'm starting to get dirty looks from him when I pull mine out. But all the employees seem to enjoy them.

My niece lives in North Carolina, she can buy it and mail it. The in-state regulations really mean nothing if you know the right person.

I have these two DNA squonkers, I use them in power mode. I tried TC and all that then back to basics. I also have a mechanical squonker - it is my apocalypse mod, I think it may well be indestructible..

I've given my closest bits of business, but it's a little difficult for me when my choices include Marlboro & Newport.

They're nice people (truly). I'd be much more inclined if they were less diversified though.

Sorry. It's me, it's not them.

I suspect most "smoke shops" are now "smoke & vapor". I had occasion to take a two hour drive through rural Florida recently and saw at least three or four such establishments.

I understand what you're saying though. These aren't proper vape shops whose mission it is to cater to people who want to (or already have) quit smoking.
