So how many of you don't care about e-cigarettes?

I hope it's also clear enough to the associations petitioned that if they do not cease and desist immediately, each of us who signed could potentially encourage ten to a thousand others to stop donations and support to them, long after the petition closes, and even from numerous countries on the planet.

As well as sway larger aggregated corporate donations.;)

I had done the surveys, but had not seen the petition. I signed it immediately, THANKS for bringing it to my attention.

Even a lazy person like me can muster up the energy to fill out my name and a few questions :p

BTW I'm up for doing anything to keep this lifesaver legal!

Thanks for signing it, did you get the verification email without problem?

How or why would you say you initially missed the petition?
I ask because I wonder if we need a poll to try to figure out how many people were not easily aware of the petition, and try to figure out how to let more people know of the petition.

Any suggestions as to what could be done?
Anyone?

Once they get it set up as a "Forum Announcement" it will take off.
Not sure why that hasn't happened yet though.

There is a thread in the feedback/help, about not even being able to access ECF from a company computer.
...something about ECF pertaining to tobacco and alcohol ??

here is the link:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ly-added-webfilter-violation.html#post1295750

I'm just wondering how ECF and the petition, oh and the necessary email verification , can get improved visibility and/or access.

Don't hold me to it John, but strangely enough I think this mainly pertains to government computers or those linked to government systems.

Does anyone else find it strange that the government started out giving soldiers cigarettes in their rations, then moved to selling tobacco and alcohol to soldiers at a reduced price, and now won't let mention of either on their computer systems? It's a strange world we live in.

I think you have a point, I cannot understand why New York is about to run out of time and all these things are happening. Suddenly the FDA, ALA, and all those decrepit associations are suddenly appearing to be cohesive while we can't get the signatures and more signatures that we expected.

Ooooh God, it's so upsetting!!! And suddenly vital posts can't be stickied and we have to keep poking them to bump them up and the ECF live moving ticker headlines are broke and disrepaired, and people posting reports about company servers blocking ECF due to alcohol and tobacco or something like that.

I think we need to send physical letters to everyone well ahead of time. Someone please post a letter that I should send to the White House, and a letter I should send to House and Senate members, and a letter that I should send the New York elected corrupt. We need more cohesion in a more timely manner. It is safe for us to assume they will want to reach both state and federal levels of decrepit corruption.

Easy John. I know how crazy it can make us, but no imploding. ;)

Have you checked out karmatized's death certificates yet? I think a copy of that for the federal level and for each state considering a ban would make a really strong statement.

I've signed the petition and sent to family and friends to sign. In addition, my Aunt, a new vaper (thanks to her neice) lives in NY state and has asked for an appointment with her state senator (now THERE's an idea!) so she can talk face to face with him and actually DEMO the e-cig. She's a constituent, she's a registered voter, she's a vaper, and she's a doctor. I think it's something all New York vapers should do. Ask for an appointment when they are in their district next.

Another thing that's been appalling to me, and that I've been working on is the press. This issue is SEVERELY under-reported and affects not just us vapers and smokers, but anyone who's ever loved or liked someone who smokes. I've sent over 20 letters to newspaper editors and broadcast reporters -- with NO response. I suggest that anyone who has any connection with anyone in the media -- especially NY media write in and request coverage of this important issue...
