Since mid April 2014 I have spent about £1000 I think (if I added every single thing up it might be more) and in that time I would have spent £850-£950 or so in cigs so not to bad really when you consider everything apart from the consumables like juice, wick, wire and batteries should last years. The problem is there is always something new that I want and its to easy to justify the purchase by thinking "hey I gave up the cigs I deserve another shiny vape gadget"

I was curious so I looked at my ebay purchases since I started vaping. On mods, batts, cartomizers, tanks, chargers and ejuices off ebay I spent $953.18 since late July. Then I spent $50 at the vape shop for ego batts and probably another $200 on ejuices with them. Then another $320.79 ejuice receipts in my email in box as well as $141.99 on getting into DIY ejuice making. Add to that say $100 for the initial vapor kit and juices I bought from gas stations gives me a total of 1565.96 I have spent since I started vaping last july.
It sounds like a lot because it is lol but I have everything I need now other than my OCD kicking in making me want more cartomizers or tanks. And I will be making my own juice this week so the cost should drastically stop. I was smoking two cartons a week at around $40 a carton which would of cost me around $640 since I quit (2 months). I have no plans on buying anything else for a while so If I spend maybe $100 a month on vaping I should be in the savings range in about 4 months from now. By the time I hit a year after quiting smoking I should have saved myself @ $2K.
To look on the bright side I have
10 Ego 510 batts
A Vamo
A Spinner II
15 Kanger T3S's
10 Kanger MT3's
20+ CE4's
A Tree of Life Mod
A Caravela Mod
A Kanger pro tank II & III
A Nautulus Aspire tank
A Patriot dripper, A Nimbus Dripper and some other RBA
Im fully set up to rebuild any coils
A DIY premium Ejuice kit
500+ ml of VG and PG
250 ml nicotine
over 30 flavor concentrates.

The initial cost would be considered steep but I dont think I did too bad and am set up for a long time now and I was able to kick a 40 year smoking habit fairly easily, so I am happy :)

I figure I would have spent well over $10k on cigarettes in the past almost 4 years since I've started vaping and I'd like to think that I've spent quite a bit less than that on vape stuff. more than likely I have spent less but truth is even if I've spent just as much, that's fine too. also now I'm at the point where I could vape for the next whole year without having to buy anything else and then even past that I could vape for years at pennies a day too, but that's not to say I won't still be buying stuff :)

I'm about 2.5 months in and have spent $1777.82 CDN. In about 5 days I will be in the black, with at least a year supply of nic base, flavors, coils, wicks and batteries. There are a few things I still would like to get: a P3 when they come out, an authentic Kayfun and an Erlkonigin some day, but I can live without all that stuff if I need to.
