so i just got my darwin

I ordered a darwin from nhaler this past sunday and it came in on wednesday, pretty fast shipping. But when i got it, i noticed it wasn't as clean looking as others i saw online and in online video reviews. Looks used and not new. I was just wondering if this is what others look like. Also my darwin shuts off and on when the swivel head is at different angles.

I do believe that is one of the older style cases. My original Darwin had a very hand made look to the engraving also, and I actually kind of liked it. I recently received a warranty replacement, and the case does look much cleaner now.

Not really sure what to tell you, except they do come like that from evolv, so maybe it's just an older casing one from stock?

I'd sent the pictures to evolv customer service and see what they say.

That is exactly how they look when they are new. Nothing to worry about I have a refurb and there is a noticable difference between that and the new one. It is a machined piece of metal so they will never be exactly the same. Mine actually has a spot where it is not covered by the black on one of the corners.
