Which, come to find out, is my father. Rather than give all the gory details, I'll give you the condensed version: it got pretty heated. Keep in mind I'd smoked analogs since I was fifteen, and I've never put the pack down for more than a day. My father is extreme anti-tobacco, and is a reformed smoker himself. That being said, I defended the PV pretty fiercely. Of course it was also at 5 in the morning for a breakfast visit, and we all can get pretty cranky that early in the a.m. =)
Essentially, he tried to hit me with the stuff we've all heard before: the anti-freeze bit, the "it's chemicals, you don't know what's in it" thing; we're talking the whole nine yards. Thankfully, (in no small part due to this site) my grasp of PV related knowledge was quite a bit more than he was probably expecting. What reeeeeally got my fires burning was the "they're going for kids" nonsense. I've seen that in a lot of articles and legislation (see New Jersey).
So, in this case, according to my father: Kids like fruit/chocolate flavors, E-cigarettes have fruit/chocolate flavers, therefore PVs are obviously targeting children. All bull
aside: Do these people have any idea of how slippery a slope they're on?
