Hey again!

So. Background info. It's been a little over a month. I'm down to possibly 1-3 analogs a day, sometimes none. Hard to stand my wife smoking 15 feet away especially after a good meal for some reason, but aside from that I seem to be done... :D I've probably spent about 150 or so, but have cartos to spare and am still searching for that perfect juice! I've pretty much got all that covered, but... I am now very curious about two things.

FIRST!
VV Mods! I hate to say it but even after 150 bucks, I have a nice refund coming, and really want to grab a vv mod of some sorts. I've looked at pro-vari and somewhat at the lavatube site, and while the provari seems flippin' amazing, it's a good chunk of change, and would be hard to explain that to my wife. May be a big refund but hey, it's our money, not mine. That being said, it's an option. Lavatubes I'm still confused about. Not sure what the best model from them would be... Lastly, I saw some ego variant on some vaping site with discount in the name (can't remember) that had 3 voltage variants for about 20-30 bucks, which seems like a good price. So heres my question: For a new-ish vaper looking for a great vv mod, what would you folks recommend?

SECOND!
Best clearomizers. I've gotten great at not burning a carto in a day, but it still happens, either due to design or a period of extended vaping with no refills. I was looking at the fluxomizers at GotVapes, and they look decent, but I have read here and there about different clearomizers leaking, having issues, not having good draw, cracking, etc etc etc. Which have you folks had the best experiences with?

I know that's an eyeful, but thanks in advance for your time and advice.

I have a lavatube and it's a decent price for what it is. If you can afford it the provari is "better" in a few aspects. Either would be good. The vv ego isn't true vv. It's only somewhere near 3.7v under load so it's not that great and not a true vv device, I'd avoid it.

For clearomisers, they're not out of the box vaping. It is quite simple to mod them for them to work optimally. Just pop all the seals out and the last one that sits over the main cup where the coil is, you'll see it has two slots either side. Just cut the slots into /\ shapes and put it back on. It'll be wicking without any problem at all after that, even with vg.

If you get the visions also known as the ultimate edition/deluxe edition CE2s/fluxomisers/clearomisers they are crack free and leak free. The casing used to break very easily on the older versions but it's fixed now.

I've used ce2s almost exclusively for a good few months now. It's a very clean taste and a bigger capacity than most things. It's also very good on a vv device, much warmer vapour at lower temperatures and generates a lot of vapour with a clean taste.

I like them a lot, contrary to popular opinion.

I have both the provari and lavatube . The lavatube works fine for the price but the top of mine came unglued and I don't want to use it until it is fixed . That was after a couple of weeks of not constant use . The button click of the lavatube sounds cheap and can be a bit annoying to others although I don't mind it . Other than that it works good and I am not as afraid of it going or not working as I am of the provari which would cost more to replace if damaged . The lavatube is much lighter than the provari . I prefer the provari but it is like the difference between a ferarri and a datsun both will get you where you want to go .

Apollo currently has the best deal for the LavaTube, AFAIK. I got one from them. Fast delivery, like the kit so far, can't complain. I don't use the atomizer it comes with though. Note that it's -just- an atomizer with a drip tip; it's not a cartomizer and there's no cartridge in the kit. Just be prepared for that.

If you get one, be sure to grab an extra battery from them too. Possibly the eGo adapter too, if you want. Since the order will be over $60, you can also add one of their disposable ecigs, and it will be free on checkout. You can also use "VaporRevolution" as a coupon code for 5% off, if that's still valid... not sure. I think there's also a different code flying around that just subtracts $6, but I can't find it right now. Maybe someone else knows. Also, if you write a review on ecigs365, they'll refund $10 to your paypal account.

You're thinking of DiscountVapors. Great site. Wouldn't recommend that VV eGo though.

Extended vaping without refills will kill cartos in no time. Once the liquid starts running out, what's left starts singeing and sticking to the coil. Ruins the taste instantly, ergo dead carto. If you manage to get the gunk off somehow, you can "resurrect" it. But that's easier said than done. Try to have multiple filled cartos on hand, and switch soon as you suspect they might be getting anywhere near dry. Better stop too soon than too late. Then refill the bunch of them when convenient.

I've only tried one CE2. At first I had leak issues, but that was user error. Once I got the hang of it, I had no trouble. Great taste, much cleaner than I'm used to from cartos. Slightly more vapor, too, from what I could tell. Had to tip it on its side every so often though, to keep the wick at the top wet. If I didn't do it in time or forgot, singeing ensued. It lasted me about a week of constant use before I had to finally give up on it. Again, at least partially user error. Might have lasted longer. But those things do require a lot of care and babying. Not sure I want to deal with that again.
