Well I know I will need more than the 100 I have on hand now and the 200 I have on the way, but just didn't want to spend the cash for more now. I've seen people on here say that on 'average' people use 2ml a day. I thought that might be low for me, but I have been working on the same 12ml bottle for probably 5 days now and there is still a day or two left, so that may be about right. however, just for fun, I played around with some numbers. There are a LOT of variables here, but it is based on what my routine has seem to become.

When I go out for a 'vape', since I think someone would wig out if I did it inside at work, I usually top off my cart with about 3 drops. I figure I use to smoke about 20-25 smokes a day and still probably pretty much follow that pattern. So the question was, how much is a drop if I am using 60-75 drops a day? Well, I found a place on the good ole internet that says a drop is .05ml. So 60-75 drops comes out to 3-3.75ml per day. So if that is all true, I would need 1095 to 1368.75 for a year.

I definitely won't have that much stocked up, but I guess when I run out, I will watch more of the 'Walrus' videos and make zero nic stuff and go through some withdrawals for a few days.
Thanks for your reply. It is so confusing, because apparently, some of the droppers and bottles don't use the same size drops. In other words, I have at least 5 or 6 different brands, so it's impossible for me to figure this out. But I did a test last week and that showed almost 5ml a day but, I'm not being careful either. I don't use carts and only drip. I alternate between 2 atomizers a day. If I notice less vape, I add juice. But when I put it down and come back to it after a while, when I puff I still get a good hit(w/o dripping again), so it's a patience thing with me. If and when the ban happens, I know that I will be more careful, and then I can wean off slowly. The pass thru has really spoiled me and I know that I am using a lot,but that can be adjusted.

5ml a day!? Holy crap.

I'm starting to think that some models use a LOT more juice than others. I puff on mine fairly steady and I'd say my highest usage has been 1.5ml in a long day.

What model are you using?

That's what I thought. I think the number is closer to 4 because at night I put the atomizers upside down to drain and always get juice on the paper towel. But, I really could use 24 all of the time, and being afraid of becoming more addicted than I already am, I try to keep the 24 for mornings, after meals, ect and use 18 the rest of the day. I could vape 18 for hours. 24 I can't do that. I use the pen and 901

I think stocking up is the best way to go. If they do ban them, I do not want to go back to analogs so I'm trying to have more than enough for at least a year. I hope the juice lasts 2 years like it's supposed to or else we are all up a creek. What is the amount of juice that everyone is figuring for a year? I have 700ml,but am thinking I need more.
Stephanie

I figure I vape around 3-4ml a day....and that is counting that I can't vape continuously at work....and I also smoke analogs in between. If I vaped steady all day with no analogs (as I would like to do)....i would probably use 5ml day. But, I also think that as much as I top off, not every drop of that will necessarily be inhaled. Some of it spills out sometimes when I'm filling...gets on my hands...etc. But I still take that into account when figuring how much I would need for the long term.

I agree that some goes wasted. I guess I better place another order. I know that we have all heard that the juice lasts for up to 2 years if stored properly, do you think that is true Lu?

They say 2 years ....but I am hoping even more as I know I have enough to last me at least that long...and am not done buying! :p

Nuck...I was alternating between 8 pens a day. Now I use 6 devices (which includes 2 lady pipes) until I get my other 2 pipes hooked up. They all use penstyle atomizers and carts.

You guys make me feel like such a rookie :)

I vape almost non-stop at my computer (I work at home on this computer so its a good 14-16 hours a day) and I don't come close to those levels. It would be interesting to find out the ratio of juice used by Steph in the 901 vs the penstyle. It might be that the penstyle is just cranking out a lot more than the smaller 901 and my 401s.

Steph..you could track it and see how much of your daily supply is being used by each device.

I must be a weanie. I vape all day pretty much using a 901 and I buy18 mg or 24 mg juice and cut it with PG down to 8 or 9 mgs. Mostly vape menthol. So I really stretch my juice big time! I can vape 11 straight maybe in the mornings, but I cut it down for the rest of the day. I can't vape anything over 12 straight. I'm happy for this because now my goal will just to be to cut down to 4 then get off the nicotine!

I use a 901, And don't use analogs (16 days without analogs). I'm sure I go through more on the weekends and I also go through more at night with the USB passthru.

Although new, I think different devices will definitely use more, like the cigs and pipes. Probably great vapor, but guess I can try to live with less vapor if it saves money. Or could go get some of the glycerin (??) stuff to create more vape if I want to.

I refuse to go back to analogs, so if the ban becomes pending, will have to stock up on more juice as well. Analogs are about 8 bucks a pack here in NY and I refuse to give NY State all that tax money! Not sure exactly what it is, but between state and fed tax, we are probably paying 4-6 bucks a pack just on taxes, I'm done with that! No more! Maybe they will realize they milked that cash cow to its limmit. I heard the NY State smokers quit line has been ringing off the hook since the new taxes have been put in place. If I didn't have so much family up here (aka my kids grandmother) I would get the heck out of here!

Ok, rant done. LOL Sorry.

I went the piecemeal method then the stockpile method. But, if I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't have bought the Janty products.

I started with the njoys, went to the 901, tried a Janty kb and the mini fogger then the lady pipe. I'm now waiting for the Screwdriver. And, that's that. But, I've also ordered a very large amount of liquid from Central Trade in China and a huge amount of atomizers and batteries in sizes 801 and 901. If the ban comes, I want to have enough for a long while.

Some people are minimizing the possibility of a ban, and that's okay. I'm no worse off it it doesn't happen-- I'll just have a couple of years worth of stock-- maybe even more than that.

But, buying at one time seems really economical to me, too.

I did something similar. I first ordered from Beci and ended up with 5 batts and 5 atomizers. Next order...same thing. Picked up juice as I went along too. Made a juice order through CT. Little by little, it added up.

But I started buying before the ban threats...I just wanted to make sure I always had enough on hand. Now I make sure I have enough on hand for 2 years, if possible. I figure by then, all this ban stuff should be straightened out. And as you say, if it doesn't happen, that's ok. I'll still be using my pipes so the supplies will never go to waste.

well with a ban, customs doesnt check internal ups shipments. All we need is a company to make and ship within the USA, using online sites, atomizer/battery parts.

All the chargers specs and such are already made here or imported and not banned, Cords, Usb connectors and such.

fvck those batteries...i am tired of rotating 4+ batteries on the chargers and to see how weak they get after the first few draws.

get a screwdriver. I got mine yesterday.

And...100s of liquids? there might only be a FEW you like....so i wouldn't stockpile too many. The other issue is...you need to store them properly.

Atomizers? Hell yes...i would get 10 or 15 and rotate them.

But its still not a $1500+ purchase.

I dropped about $650 on my initial "investment" broken out as follows

4----901's
1 screwdriver by trog
6 extra batteries (for a total of 14)
10 extra atomizers (for a total of 14)
2 USB chargers
144 ML juice (will cut to approxmitely 320ml)
10 1 dram of Luann oils
12 2 dram glass dropper bottles
40 empty carts
200 pre filled carts
2 syringes w/ blunt needles
16oz PG for cutting

I want to get 15 more atmizers and 500mls more of juice and I will be feeling secure
