$26.70 Kayfun Lite Styled Rebuildable Atomizer (4.5mL) at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Worth giving it a shot? Or a waste of money?
I'm looking to upgrade the flavor output from what I'm getting from my Protank2 and 3. I'd rather not cut my teeth on rebuilding coils with the Protank. Prefer something with a little more room to operate. Been hearing all the great things about the Kayfuns and the Russian 91%, but I'm not putting out $100 for one head.
Sooo....
Anyone have experience with the kayfun knockoff?
Is that clone worth a shot or would I be throwing away 27 bucks?

Thanks much.

I have the lite clone and the 3.1 clone, the 3 main differences are:
-The lite sometimes whistles because of the position of the airhole
-Lite clones leak a little(like less than 1 drop a day)
-3.1 clone is longer by 1cm around 1/3 of an inch.

If i have to choose one now i'd go for the 3.1 clone

I have this tobeco and it's my best purchase so far. Just wire and cotton is all you need. I have a 1.5 micro on my mech, flavor and hit are great. The tobeco from my experience are good quality.

Look around and you can get one for 40-60 within a week if you were like me. Didn't want to wait.

The Ephro clone is top notch. But real one blows them away. Just got my real KFL + today. I had the Rocket. It was good. Not great. Leaked a little. Here's mine.

here is the one I ordered Sunday - expecting delivery tomorrow

Kayfun Lite Russian Atomizer Clone RBA Tobeco Direct Revision 2 5 w New Airflow | eBay

read the discussions on the fasttech one you are looking at

If you don't mind reporting back, looks the same as ordered from FT but i wont see them til spring 2014.

Reported to have plated decks and soft steel screws that rust in tap water.

Would be good to know, i dont order from ebay anymore.

If you want plated brass :p 3 in a row from FT Taifun GT, KF 3.1 and KFLs are all reputedly plated brass decks and parts. Shame I ordered all 3, bona fide KFL+ in the new year it is!

After reading all the discussions on the Fast Tech site, it seems that they replaced the brass parts with SS for the upcoming shipment (edit: of the kayfun clone linked to in the OP). I don't know about the screws, but I was planning to replace those with high quality stainless ones anyways.

Edit: one of the threads confirming 100% stainless construction.
