Oh no! Drama bomb! Wuxtry! Wuxtry!

No... not so much.

After yesterday's blowout, I thought I'd reach out to IntelliCig and let them weigh in.

The person in charged of Innovapor is one of our best sellers and is our
main distributor for Intellicig in America. He is very good at what he does
and is definitely trust worthy.

Best wishes

Subject: Is InnoVapor One Of Your Resellers?

Hello,

I've recently learned that InnoVapor (InnoVapor :: The Finest in Personal Vaporizers) is allegedly
selling Joye products that may not be legitimate. As they also sell
IntelliCig products (several of which I have purchased from them), I wanted
to check and see if they're an authorized reseller -- or if I should be
concerned about the Evolution and EcoPure products I've received from them.

Regards,

Twinkie

Personally, I agree with Suzanne. Yeah, I had a pre-200 order... three of 'em, actually. And as soon as their backlog is clear, I'll be ordering more.

The only reason I haven't put in an order, is because I don't want to pile on and have to wade through even more armchair MBA's incessant whining about issues that have already been addressed. :D

How many places can you think of that sell one illegitimate item?

It defies logic to sell a knockoff 510 and not the more expensive Evo.

That's kind of like selling real Rolexes and fake Timexes.

LMAO Twinkie! Good point ;) Although I have to say I stuck by Noah and Innovapor without a doubt to begin with. I got my order this last Tuesday and I'm a very happy vapor with their products :D Heck, I left TW's forum after what was said and done to IN without research first, that was a very bad business move in my book :nah:

I have to say, I really didn't appreciate Pillbox taking shots at me even after I said I had considered buying from TW.

Sure, it would have been like a $100 order, maybe. So no huge loss for him. But to treat a potential customer that way, after dumping all over a current customer and reseller told me all I needed to know about buying from them.

You are missing the point Twinkie. I personally don't think IV is intentionally trying to sell a 'knockoff 510'. They have already said they purchased it from Eastmall and probably..hopefully...they thought they were getting the real Joye 510 product.

But Eastmall doesn't make the 510, they are just a supplier in China the same way IV is a supplier in the US. Now if you want to talk about 'logic', does it make sense that Joye is going to sell a new atomizer that their already existing carts don't fit properly in? Does it make sense that several people have contacted Joye directly and they have said that they are NOT selling a 'new' 510 atomizer? Sure, maybe it's possible these people that have contacted Joye are lying, but what would be the point? The truth will come out eventually.

There ARE other China companies making '510 knockoffs' as you put it. The JSB-510 is one of them. See the info here: JSB-510 Manual switch Manufacturer exporting direct from Guangdong China

The question remains, WHAT is IV buying from Eastmall? Is it a genuine Joye 510 or something else? So far IV is silent on this matter, it's just all of us speculating about it. Why are they silent? Does that make LOGICAL sense if they are selling a real Joye 510 product?

$100 doesnt seem like much but hes not a fortune 500 company by any means i am sure. So what ever he might believe every order no matter what size counts in those stages of buisness.

Maybe not the most popular, but.... logic is a good thing. Thank you for your logic.

My point, really, was to allay any concerns people might have about the Evo, given the recent kerfuffle.

There are more than enough threads full of speculation about everyone's 510. That's not why I started this one.

Yeah... though having worked for and with small businesses in the past (as well as Fortune 5 and Fortune 500 companies), some customers really aren't worth the few bucks you'll make off of them.

I'm willing to believe that IV (and Blu, and others) have a handful of customers who really have reached a break-even or have cost the company more than the profit they're bringing, by continuously nagging customer service reps in hopes it will make the out of stock products magically appear.

Very good point Twinkie, the squeaky wheel does not always get the grease when there is no grease to be had...

The 510's I got from IV were actually 510 attys and batts from TW. As a matter of fact they were shipped to me in the TW multi-pack boxes. Can't complain, they work great but instead of saying joye510 they say titan510 MP. I thought it was funny though because I got these little red smoking devil boxes from IV. When I need parts I will buy the multi-pack batts and attys from TW since those are the products that IV got my hooked on, kinda ironic I think.8-o:D:evil:

IV has already stated that they were selling TITAN 510s from TW. But now they are selling 510s from Eastmall, a supplier in China. IE: They are selling something different now, Eastmall is the supplier, but the manufacturer origin is unknown at this point.

The TW Titans are a standard Joye 510, the only difference is the wide gold band and labeling on the boxes. Going forward you can buy any 510 product/part which is made by Joye, which before all of of this was a given, no matter what supplier you bought your 510 from. But it's a different story now as it appears there is a 'new' 510 product in town and it's not from Joye...

You can go strait to TW, but you wont get the same price, they are higher priced, and you wont get the 30 day warranty from TW with their multi packs either. I suggest you go onto the TW forum and read what allot of people are saying about their "poor quality" multi packs they are receiving lately from TW. Speculation is they are refurbished atty's and batts that TW are selling in the multi packs now, they are branded with a TM I believe, for good reason. Because TW will not give a warranty with those parts and allot of people are having problems with them within days if not immediately.:(

Suzanne has already responded regarding IV's credibility and I fully support that. We have a very good partnership with Noah which is moving forward despite the inevitable obstacles that appear. All of his Intellicig products are 100% genuine, I can guarantee that.
What worries me is that we received the email above stating "
I've recently learned that InnoVapor is allegedly selling Joye products that may not be legitimate."
Even though the word 'allegedly' was used (advisedly) there was no evidence offered on which to base such a statement, ie where did the sender recently learn of this alleged act? Such statements, whether true or not, can in themselves have a damaging effect on someone's business and that is totally wrong. It would be so easy to state 'alleged facts' about any supplier or company which could do them harm, even if unproven as whenever mud is thrown some of it inevitably sticks. We only have to look at the FDA release to see that!!!
Most companies go through difficult times and I remember not too long ago a supplier was getting battered on here for delays etc when he was trying his best to grow the company, fill orders, move house and look after his family all at once. A good number of posters didn't cut him any slack whiah was grossly unfair. We don't always get it right but I'm sure most of us try our best. Sometimes circumstances conspire against us and there are delays or we get innundated with orders, emails, calls and staff going off sick, but we have to carry on regardless and even take crap from disgruntled customers. There are times when I feel like saying "just go buy a packet of cigarettes and stop whining" but I don't, I work crazy hours to get things done. I'm on vacation this week but am still responding to emails, doing research from home and answering posts on here. It's because I am committed, like many others.
