What makes me sad is that the members that have been around a little bit know this happens with upgrades...and that it gets resolved/removed as soon as it can be done...and yet...here we are 153 posts later...

From reading the little bit that I can since pages won't load at all on my rural DIALUP... I see that it is a general consensus that these social media links must be banished.
I will have patience as Elendil has requested but why the H was this initiated without any opt out warning or option? Upgrades are appreciated but intrusions are destined to be the curse of this forum. Please continue making members your first consideration but until then, you have blocked out many of us long-timers and supporting members.
ok, this issue was brought up in the middle of the night.
We get that you don't like it.
You do know it is a saturday morning, and perhaps giving us some time to look into the issue would be appropriate. Not everything can be fixed with the snap of your fingers. Our coders don'r work 24 hours a day. I don't mean to sound overly harsh, but c'mon..................
Patience is a virtue
This is good for those using FF, Chrome, or Safari but what about those of us who use IE? I shouldn't have to use a different browser to come to ECF.
I feel like I am on dial-up again. Grrrrrrrrr
New plan!!!
Im now holding ECF hostage with evil Like buttons until you all cough up ONE MILLION DOLLARS!!!!!!!!!!!! MUWHAHAHHAHA MUWHAHAHA
(there NOW it's an Evil schemeAdmin and the coders are working on it really
)
i agree, cj - and, if i remember roly's post right , the main upgrade was done about 2 weeks ago but that we should expect some efforts at fine-tuning to continue. if this was fine-tuning last night then why would a coder not stick around for a bit to see what or if there were undesired consequences and revert them if necessary?
