Solar: 5.5V okay for recharging mini 808 batteries?

Looking for a little portable solar panel/battery USB charger for my 220 Mah 808D mini batts. (Got a PCC, just figure backups for my backups backups).

I see quite a few of these solar USB chargers around seem to output 5.5V instead of the USB standard 5V.

Is this okay, or would it wreck the batteries?

Most batteries use something that is USB compatible and they run at 5 volts. Just found some posts that list 5.5 volt Solar battery chargers. Do a search for E Cig chargers.

^ Yeah I did a few searches, and found some mention of 5.5 volt outputs, but still no real certainty in that of whether that will work okay with my 220 mah 808d batteries.

yes they work while i do not know about the one you are talking about in particular i used this one to charge my twists on the boat or our fishing.

i already had it to charge my phone and camera so i tried it and worked fine (even a review from me on it lol)

dont know what the .5 v will do to the charger head,but the charger regulates the power to the battery
