When you refill and close AVS try this to avoid overflooding CT and atty: put off the small cap, close the big cap, push o-ring in place, put and screw well the small cap.

yes I have done that, better results, see previous post.....will vape and report back after my tank is empty

I admittedly have not been around much lately..I'm deeply involved in restoring a motorcycle atm and am out in the shop most of the day...instead of hovering around forums causing trouble. Needless to say I'm a bit disheartened at what I've been reading about this brass/aluminum tank issue.

Imeo...I think you're the greatest...I love your products. I'm quite content to vape non-stop 24-7 with my GGTS/AFSv2 and LR901 attys. I was really on the bandwagon to try out the 510 setup though and had planned to buy both the AVS and the 510 adapter as well as stocking up on a few o-rings, etc. I really never saw or knew that there was an issue with brass or aluminum either one, other than the fact that it does get cruddy over time and I've tried as I'm sure many have here to keep the tank and fittings as clean as possible. But that's the point..I thought it was just a cleaning issue..not a toxic, dangerous issue!

Imeo...I really DEPEND on my GG setup to keep me sane! If not for it, I'm 95% sure I'd have given up on e-cigs and gone back to analogs by now, due to the friggin' hassles with normal dripping, carts, etc. Your device has literally changed my life, allowed me to cope and kept everyone around me from shooting me dead...!!

So here's what I'm asking you for. I want a stainless steel AVS with collector cup too and all internal connectors/fitting to be stainless as well. I know there's a tad bit of power loss, but I can live with that..and that's the point..to live and be healthy. I want it to not corrode and to be able to be cleaned and sterilized easily. I also want you to research Viton o-rings as they are chemical and heat proof and provide them with your products. They won't degrade and will last a lifetime, other than obviously being cut or destroyed.

This is what I want and NEED from you...so I can move on from this issue and continue my vaping and sanity...thanks for listening to us always!

Wolf, I am listening to you as you know and keep vaping from your tank because its absolutely safe. I also recomend you to buy the AVS and the brass connector because its totally safe. As you saw there is nothing bad with those materials. Aluminium is more than safe and brass inside tank is safe too.
I made a poll not because I want to see if materials are safe, I made this poll just to make my customers feel better. If you really want to find the truth please search internet and you will feel much better buddy

Unbelievable. Give Imeo a break guys. This thread is full of scare monger stuff.

Oh the dangers... we need SS...

Well so far there has been no danger shown and I highly doubt there is any. Honestly guys, do you think the 30 cent made in China carto/atty made from pig iron, some glue etc with unknown components is not a bigger issue?

All of you. Think about what you are posting. Now I don't know if Ecigs are safer than analogues but I'm pretty sure they are. If reading this thread one analogue user decides lung cancer is better than a perceived risk from brass do you hold some blame?

So what you're saying is no one has a right to be concerned and voice their concern? Come on that's what this forum is about. Plus when analogs first came out manufactures denied any health risks and look where that got us. There's nothing wrong with discussing this issue and getting all the facts on the table.

I have one suggestion Imeo. Should you indeed make a stainless steel AVS, I strongly suggest you make it out of 316L SS instead of just regular 316 SS. I won't go into detail as you know what Im getting at. Just a suggestion.

I'll be the first in line to buy one!

JB, I like the way you think my man, however your gonna have to get behind me in the line for the SS Tank, hahahahahah

Of course you have a right to voice a concern.

But there is a subtle difference between worrying about something and making people not buy a product due to threads like this. Does brass have health issues Harpo, answer me that......................... NOW.

Can you say for sure that it doesn't? I don't think so that's why this discussion is good IMO.

My Idea that I really liked best of all was a solid Derlin made tank, but Imeo said it couldn't be done and I beg to differ, if he somehow had a flat piece of conductive metal recessed inside of that derlin it would in fact work I believe, so the derlin tube would have to be made with say a 1" flat piece of metal in the middle of it when they made it and this I believe could be done if the manufacturer was given the specs to make it. I would like some opinions on this from the crowd ?

Honestly, should we next worry about the colour jocks Imeo wears because it may affect his imagination....

Facts not fantasy.....

SS, how does it react in a nuke inferno... is it an issue?

I don't have the facts that's why I for one like this thread. If you have all the facts supporting the use of brass please post them. I'm not saying brass is bad I just want to know. I value the opinion of many people on ECF that are way smarter than me when it comes to issues like this.

Also you don't need to be a smart ... to get your point across.
