Dan, one small thing. Would vapor/condensate build up in the passageways and start to gurgle? Maybe fewer larger channels so it drains back down easily and doesn't clog or cling especially in corners.
With the bottle version, how clean is the bottle when you take it out to refill?
soylent green is people!!!
Oh the humanilty!
I thought that was spam...
hey Dan it still going good.....?
if thats the one you had earlier I am green w tool envy...I just gotta get a lathe....or one of your toys...
on second thought I want the lathe so I can make my own toys...
and I thought spam was made from soylent green/people...I think you can avoid the epoxy by threading the hole and using an o ring and a metal tube and connect the nylon to that...
Still going good! The DSU is still perfoming fantastcally. Still has the seepage problem but it is diminished somewhat, I want to try the new mod. Have come up with an alternate solution for the tube, if I drill in from the side to the central tube, and the plug the end by the ploy tubing and creat a hole straight down to the horizantal hole I could use a nylon tube that is epoxyed in place creating the U channel for the juice. The I could stick the SS wick down in the nylon tube and connect the coil.

What do ya think?
Dan
True, but the nylon insert would be 3/16" with a 1/8" hole, so I could thread the insert, here is a cross section shot for a better visual...
