Got it back together, made sure there were no shorts this time. Fires up.
Now, that being said....the battery is overheating.
So much so that the batt tube is getting very hot....not burning hot, but hot enough that you wouldn't want to hold it. Enough to tell you something is wrong. From the little....and I mean VERY little knowledge I have in electrical...it seams to like there is some sort of grounding out issue that I can't figure out.
When I am welding, my ground clamp always gets very hot. But in that use, that's normal. Could there be something (that wasn't there before) wrong with my negative side? Then again, may just be the old batts...trustfire 16340s.
