What does FSUSA juice and Vapor Station juice have in common? Whatever it is, it burns my throat up. I can't vape either supplier's juice. I have tried 10+ flavors from FSUSA and 10+ from VS...all 6mg or under. Flavors ranging from RY4 to peach.

I'm out $30 from this VS sample pack. I just really need to find out what is causing my throat to get so irritated, so I can avoid juices that have that ingredient. I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with pg or vg as I can vape other juices that are 80% pg and some that are 100% vg just fine.

I know the feeling and I get it really bad with Bluemist. Right now, Vaperite is the only juice I'm vaping because it has both the flavor strength I want and it doesn't have a burning sensation (which really irritates my throat). I'm almost afraid to order from anywhere else right now.

I'm not sure if it's the quality of the nicotine, artificial flavors, or perhaps even added alcohol. When it comes to e-juice, less is more. I only order from places that use only the necessary ingredients (no colorong, etc.).

Since I'm in the same boat, can you share what brands you have had luck with?

Edit: Since we both have this issue, I've added you as a friend so I can keep track of what works for you (and you can keep track of what works for me).

I'm good with Alien Visions and some Vapor Bomb flavors. I can also vape Vixen Vapors. I am definitely going to try Virgin Vapors soon...as soon as I can afford to buy more juice. Vaperite seems to be OK also.

With the FSUSA and the VS, it's almost like there is pepper in the juice. It is extremely irritating to my throat. Once the damage is done, it takes about 24 hours to feel better. It's a mystery that I would love to solve!

I've tried both but do not get the burn. I am a fan of VS and use that and Dekang tobacco flavors mainly! When I hear the word, "pepper", I understand that is the nic. Maybe the level was too high for you? The higher the level the more pepper flavor. I use to get that 'swallowing glass' feeling for a cheaper juice from e cig (Japan) but have not at all with VS. I use 10-18mg mostly.

ps. Drink honey and warm water and it should go away ;-) I think your throat is just irritated by the level of nic but I am not an expert. You may also wish to try VG. VG is a softer vapor. Lots of smoke but not too much throat hit. Feel better!

I'm down to 6mg or under nic, so that's definitely not the problem. Other brands with high PG doesn't bother me either. I think it has to do with whatever flavorings FSUSA and VS are using. It does feel like I have swallowed glass. The VS juice has a list of ingredients on the label, FSUSA does not. In emails, they told me they only use PG, VG, and flavor. Not sure what is in their flavor that may be the same as VS's. Pretty sure FSUSA uses FlavorArt flavors. Not sure about VS though. I'm soooooo tired of wasting money on juice that is going to burn my throat. I just need to figure out what the ingredient is that I react to so I can avoid any juice that contains it.

I would try a VG only blend and see how you do, a lot of people are allergic to PG and don't even know it.

I don't have a problem with all brands and I often get 80/20 or 70/30 pg/vg ratios. I suppose there could be a difference in quality between different PGs, but I can vape 70/30 pg/vg from Vaperite all day and night without any issue. I do wonder if I have more of a problem with juices that take a long time to steep, though I have the same issue with most Chinese juices.

Just wanted to say that I understand your frustration of wasting money on juices. In my case it's because most are yucky to me. Have you tired the Dekang (China) line? Many here say it is very good liquid and very low cost. I just placed an order for all of their tobaccos and spent less the the cost of one 30ml bottle from companies like epuffer and No.7. I have used their basic tobacco in the past. Not bad for $4.99. BTW, the swallowing glass happened to my Father and he went to the Doc. The Doc said there was an irritant that caused the vocal chords to become inflamed. It did pass though. Again, feel better ;-)

I don't know if I've tried Dekang or not, but I've found all the Chinese juices I've tried are way too harsh.

Hey Caged! I was born in Laurel, MD. I just caught that you are from my home town;-) I think you should try some Dekang. Since the price is great, you won't be that upset if you think it sux. LOL Look at AZ Smoke Free. They have all of them and at various levels. I'm sure everyone here can say something about Dekang. It's pretty standard.

I might try some Dekang. They had a tobacco I wanted to try but have been avoiding it because I think I may not tolerate cheap flavoring very well (I have the same problem with cheap perfumes and colognes, some laundry detergents, some deodorant soaps, some shampoos, etc. -- I literally can not breath when I encounter AXE). I am assuming Dekang uses cheap flavoring because of the price though so I could be wrong.

How far from Laurel did you get? I used to live in the Hagerstown area and near Philly before that.

I don't think it does. I bought one liquid from a USA vendor and it tasted and smelled like grandma's perfume. Yuck! I wish others would chime because Dekang is kind of the standard. Sure their a great USA companies too. I like Vapor Station for example, but it doesn't work for you. The basic Dekang tobacco is sweet. I don't like the sweetness but the vaps very well. I am using DK-TAB right now. It is a bit harsh. Avoid that one.

Maybe you would like Camel (Desert Ship). It's a smooth blend/slightly sweet.

We're in Rising Sun on our little horse farm ;-)
